Nyx just had a smirk on her face, "I can't wait until the reveal of some of those side houses that I am Lady of now, it's gonna be absolute pandemonium in here and it will be beautiful."

Kol looked at his daughter who was still sitting beside him "oh you really are my daughter with that attitude."

Nyx just chuckled sending a cheeky grin to the Weasley Twins as she says the next line "Oh that is only part of it dad... I am also the blood-adopted daughter of two marauders and the honorary niece of another" then she whispered to where only her dad would hear this part "and the granddaughter of Chaos himself." then she spoke normally again "causing mayhem is what I do."

Kol laughed and Rebekah grinned at her niece shaking her head "I feel sorry for your teachers, having grown up with Kol's shenanigans. I know how bad it can get."

Fred and George playfully glare at her for not telling them that she is related to not just one but two of the men whom they owe their success to. She just smirked at them.

Thalia cleared her throat gathering the attention and she started reading the second chapter. (The words are translated into Greek for the demigods that want to read a chapter and English for everyone else.)

That Fateful Night.

October 31st 1993

Kol looked at his daughter, "that title sounds so ominous."

Nyx shrugged "it's fitting though."

Thalia started reading again.

The night started out as normal for the Potter family, the family of three was inside their cottage in Godric's Hollow.

James Potter was laying on the floor on his stomach in front of a now 15-month-old Nyx, his daughter was sitting on the floor trying to grab the bubbles that were coming out of James' wand, clapping happily whenever she would pop one.

Nyx smiled sadly this was the moment everything changed in her life. This was when the esteemed headmaster had tried to place her with Lily's muggle sister, who hated magic, she was very grateful to her mother for saving her from that.

Lily stood in the doorway watching the two with a smile on her face, Nyx may not be biologically her daughter but she loved her all the same, that was her baby girl in every other way. "All right James, it's time to put her to bed."

James tilted his head to the left to look at his wife a childish pout on his face "come on Lily-Flower, just five more minutes... Nyx is having fun." then he looked back at Nyx, "look at mummy and go," he demonstrated a pouty face at his 15-month-old.

Nyx had a mischievous look in her little green eyes and copied the look on James' face before looking at Lily and making the face.

"James!" then she looked resigned "fine but only five more minutes and then it's bedtime."

The mischievous father-daughter duo both clapped happily at that.

Nyx once again had a sad look on her face, she knew that Lily and James loved her but reading about the last moments she had with them was bringing her down a little, and sensing her sadness, Ares got up and sat down beside his soulmate and grabbed her hand.

The daughter of Hecate squeezed his hand and laid her head over on his shoulder, she felt a little better, the presence of her soulmate right beside her eased some of the sadness.

Nyx was one of the very few people whom the God of War would openly show his affection for. That list wasn't very long and of course, his soulmate would be at the top of the list.
