Since everything was going to be revealed anyway Adrianne decided to say screw it and sat beside her little sister, who was sitting next to Ares, who had his arms wrapped around her, while her head was against his shoulder. Adrianne smirked at the confused looks she was getting from everyone since a Lestrange was choosing to sit beside the girl who lived, the light side's so-called golden girl.

Boy were they in for a surprise when they found out that Adrianne and Corvus had raised Nyx since she was 15 months old.

The sisters shared a smirk which sparked more confusion from everyone around them, but neither said a word as Professor McGonagall picked up the first book and read the title "Nyx Potter and the Philosopher's Stone... I'll start us off and read the first chapter." Then she opened the book to the first chapter and read the title of the chapter.

The Beginning.

July 31. 1992.

Kol had a confused look on his face. That was the day that his daughter was born, the day that Hecate appeared to him holding their newborn daughter.

His siblings took note of the look and turned to him Elijah was the one to speak "what is it, brother?"

"That's the day my daughter was born... I'm just slightly confused about what this has to do with anything." They nodded at him and McGonagall continued to read.

It was a clear night and you could see every star in the sky. A man sat on a chair, just staring out into the blackness that was the night sky, he had always loved the stars. It was a guilty pleasure of his if you will. Nobody knew about his love for Astronomy.

Nyx smiled to herself, she loved Astronomy too, it must be something that she inherited from her father or well I guess it should be fathers because the Blacks also have a thing for Astronomy and Sirius Black is one of her blood adopted fathers.

His peaceful night of stargazing was interrupted by the appearance of a woman, with her dark hair pulled up into an elegant bun and a black dress, her eerie green eyes seemed to glow in the night. Sensing the presence the man looked at the woman. "Lady Hecate." He bowed his head in a sign of respect, for he knew this woman was not someone to be messed with.

The woman now known as Hecate smiled, she always quite liked the respectful ones, "Hello Kol."

That turned their eyes to the original mentioned, who on the outside looked fine but on the inside, he was freaking out... he was finally going to know what happened to his daughter, how could he not be freaking out?

Nyx, on the other hand, smiled to herself she was finally going to be able to meet her father, the one that she had heard so much about from her mother and surprisingly her grandfather as well the few times that she's met him.

McGonagall drew the attention back to her as she continued to read.

"It's been a while."

"It has but there's a reason for that and it is why I'm here now actually." That was when the Original noticed the bundle of blankets in her arms.

He stood from his chair and looked at her "what is it?"

Hecate just smiled again, as she stepped towards him, and placed the blankets into his arms revealing a small baby girl sleeping you could just make out a tuft of dark hair on the newborn's head. "She's your daughter, our daughter," Hecate smiled at her daughter "she's only a few hours old... I've left naming her up to you."

Kol looked down at the baby he was now holding and that was when she woke up and opened her eyes as he stared down into green eyes that looked exactly like her mother's which was a trait all children of Hecate shared. He was a goner the second he looked into her eyes, he already loved her, his daughter... "Nyx will be her first name, after the goddess of Night and Ophelia will be her middle name."
