Heading to the met up for the important dinner. Niccolo helped me inside going to our table first. Finding out that we were the first to arrive which is a good thing for Niccolo and his men to look over the place in case of important measures.
When the other party came into the room, it all started. I made sure that I did not speak, because I know that my voice does not matter right now. It is better not to put myself inside the conversation of matters that do not need me speaking on. I just tuned out the whole conversation.
By the look on Niccolo's face, I think that the meeting is going well. When we finished we left and went back to the cars. Getting inside the car I felt a rush of nausea come over me. Holding my purse close to me, I emptied everything in my stomach into my purse. Niccolo came close to my side moving my hair out of the way. He give an nod to the driver letting me know that we were heading back home.
As we got home Niccolo grabbed me, carrying me all of the way to our bedroom. He pulls out his phone speaking in Italian where I should know italian by now but nope. He ended the phone call and came to my side holding my hand.
" I think that it is just something I ate." Trying to convince myself that it was nothing serious.
" We will see. I called the doctor." Niccolo said
There was an knock at the door, Niccolo giving the all clear showing the doctor walking in. Let the testing start.
After a few tests and a long time waiting the doctor came back with the results.
" First off it is nothing too serious. It is good news. Congratulations, You are pregnant." The doctor said having a huge smile on their face.
