Chapter 10. Good Morning~

*Lelouchs P.O.V.*

I open my eyes to the morning light from the windows.

"Good morning Lelouch."

I see Suzaku half-laying beside me, looking at me while smiling. I remember what we did last night and blush.

"Haha you're so cute Lelouch."

"Don't call me cute."

"Okay I won't do it, while you can hear me."

"Hey!"

I look up at Suzaku and he starts laughing, just then I can't help but smile too. He moves closer and our lips gently touch. I close my eyes and melt into the soft kiss. After awhile Suzaku pulls away and sits up.

"Do you want me to try making breakfast today Lelouch?"

"No."

"Eh why not!?"

"Because last time you tried three cups broke and the toaster exploded."

"Okay you're right. But are you okay, it doesn't hurt anywhere?"

"No."

Suzaku goes to put clothes on and comes back with some for me. As I stand up I feel my lower back hurt.

"Ow..."

"Lelouch are you really okey?"

"Yeah, it's no big deal."

"You sure?"

"....yes."

Suzaku looks at me not convinced at all. I avert my eyes trying to think of something good to say. Then Suzaku goes without saying anything. Sighing to myself, I carefully sit down on the bed and wait for him. Not long after he comes back insisting that I at least let him help me, which I slightly against agree to.

We prepare breakfast and eat together in the living room, watching the news on the tv.

" **** **** Zero."

I hear something mentioning Zero and immediately turn my attention to the tv.

"Yes, Zero who has been on a break will make an appearance in Tokyo next week, it is a very important meeting about the finances and reconstruction of the Japanese culture. They want to rebuild whole cities and towns, isn't i-"

Suddenly the sound got on mute, Suzaku place down the tv remote on the table.

"Suzaku why did you mute the tv?"

"Well, I wanted to tell you this myself but I guess the tv did it before I got to. So I'll tell you that the you don't already know. I will leave in five from now and be away for a week. If I'm lucky it will end some day earlier though."

"I see."

I was a little sad that Suzaku would be gone so long, but I tried to act unaffected.

"Lelouch it looks like you are pouting right now hehe."

"I'm not! I just... it's a little lonely."

I stand up and to take the empty dishes to the dishwasher.

"Anyway it is five days left before you have to go."

"You're right Lelouch."

I feel Suzaku hug me from behind as I close the dishwasher. We stand like that for awhile, enjoying the moment.

"Hey Lelouch, lets take a shower together.~"

"No way do it on your own, I'll shower after you."

"Instant rejection huh. Then I'll do this."

Suzaku pulls me up and carries me towards the bathroom.

"Hey wait I said no!"

"Don't be shy Lelouch, it's not like I haven't seen you already."

After the embarrassing shower, and some Suzaku doing inappropriate touching, we sit on the couch just taking it easy.

We don't do much the rest of the day and the evening to night come by fast. We go to sleep sharing my bed and I cuddle against Suzaku as he puts his arms around me.
