Part 13

Lu's POV

After weeks of going on dates with Eddie, my feelings for him grew even more strong but lately I hear people whisper around that he doesn't really like me and uses me to get closer to Chrissy. each time I hear that I just wonder to myself..Why get closer to Chrissy? I needed to know so, of course, I first asked Chrissy but she chuckled nervously changing the subject which made me uneasy. After school, I went out to skull rock with Eddie, but on the drive there and while walking to our spot I didn't speak much. Of course, he noticed and tried to find out. "Lu..I know something is up c'mon you can tell me.." I looked at him in his puppy brown eyes and sighed "Whats up with you and Chrissy?" he raised his brow then looked at me puzzled "Chrissy Cunningham?" I nodded he chuckled "Nothing sweetheart, me and Chrissy are just friends. We used to like each other but grew apart now we are friends" hearing Eddie say that made my heart drop. Eddie used to like Chrissy?i couldn't help but tear up and grow angry, I wanted to be with my sisters and friends but I wanted to be with Eddie then I remembered today we had a sleepover planned at my house, looking at the time I assumed Dustined already let the others in. i stood up looking down not daring to look over at Eddie "Lets go..the sleepover is starting" Eddie raised his brow then followed me. 

No one's POV

Eddie and Lu drove back to her house in silence, Eddie growing nervous under the tension. As soon as they arrived Lu slammed the van door shut stomping in the house leaving Eddie confused and a bit irritated. Eddie walked in after Lu as she stomped to her room shutting the door then everyone turned their attention towards Eddie some raising their brows. Bianca sat up frowning at Eddie "Eddie why is Lulu upset?" He shrugged and before he could say anything Neren pinned Eddie against the wall glaring daggers at him "Listen here Edward, I do not trust you at all but my sister seems to find you special and Luka is my little sister and we have been through thick and thin so if you do anything and I mean ANYTHING to hurt her I will personally hunt you down with Bianca and make sure the pain you felt is 1000x worse then the pain you caused my sister. Got that?" Eddie just gulped nervously nodding, Nerens grip tightened "Say it." Eddie let out a shaky breath but then Bianca pulled Neren off "C'mon sis I think Edward here knows exactly what he is getting into." She then glared at Eddie along with Neren sitting back down. Riri was in the kitchen cooking everyone dinner while Dustin walked over to Eddie placing his hand on his shoulder "Listen, dude you're my best friend but if you do hurt my sister you're down" Eddie shrugged his hand off groaning "I didn't do anything! she's been like this ever since we were at skull rock" dustins eyebrow rose "She just doesn't get angry, something must've caused it.." Eddie eyes widen "I told her me and Chrissy used to have a thing.." Dustin groaned "Oh my god dude..no" Bianca overhearing the conversation sighed "Eddie the thing about my sister is that she can be very sensitive and easily jealous" Eddie groaned "Shiiiit..what will I do?" Neren then side-eyed him responding coldly "You could go jump off a bridge.." Bianca gently elbowed her "Your best bet is to try talking to Lulu but be careful..she can get angry very easily" Eddie nodded.

Everyone was sitting at the dinner table eating what Riri had cooked, in their PJs. "Whoa Riri this is good shit" Eddie chuckled, Riri smiled bowing his head "Why thank you, this recipe was inspired by Chrissy" Lu then scoffed "Oh great now we are feeding Eddie his ex-crush foods" Bianca looked over at Lu, Neren raising her cup to her mouth slouching "Oh shit.." Riri raised his brow along with Eddie to which he respond "Lu are you Jealous of Chrissy?" Lu played with her food shrugging not looking up from her plate. Dustin just sat there sighing holding his hand to his face knowing what will happen. "Me? Jealous? oh please Edward why would I be jealous of the most beautiful girl in Hawkins High almost wanted by everyone" Eddie got a bit annoyed since Chrissy was both of their good friends and even though Eddie loved Lu, he hates it when people get rude with his friends "I told you there's nothing between me and Chrissy everything is in the past" Lu then looked up scoffing "Yeah like i'd believe that, once a crush then friends?? no way that's bull" Eddie stood up brows furrowed holding up his hand a bit "If you wanna talk about Bull then what about Jason huh? whats up with you two?" Lu stood up frowning looking  pissed off "Leave Jason the fuck out of this Munson!" Eddie scoffed "No because each time I see you is with him and you two are really friendly with those hugs huh? and even with Harrington" Lu gripped tightly onto the table cloth stabbing holes through it with her manicured nails "Dont compare me and my fucking friends to you and Chrissy god damn it!' Eddie tried to refrain from yelling but finally fought back "Well it seems like our situations are similar huh?!" as the arguing went on, Bianca tried to interfere sometimes, Neren getting annoyed walking out along with Dustin and Riri just sitting there awkwardly "IF YOU LIKE CHRISSY SO MUCH MUNSON THEN WHY DONT YOU FUCKING DATE HER?!?" Eddie chuckled "MAYBE I FUCKING WILL AND HOW ABOUT YOU DATE JASON OR STEVE?!?" Lu's eyes widened with tears "FINE" Eddie yelled back "FINE" they both stomped to Lu's room slamming the door. Riri then stayed silent then spoke "But I'm with Chrissy?- and are they aware-" Bianca sighed nodding "yes- just- lets clean up and hope everything is okay in the morning"

Lu's POV

Me and Eddie laid in bed our backs to each other. I didn't mean to yell or do anything..i was just so angry and jealous i snapped and at someone i love but i couldn't help but overthink..does he mean it? Will he really date Chrissy..? Am i really going to lose my crush to my best friend..? My eyes started tearing up as i started to cry wrapping the blanket tightly around me hoping Eddie wont know.

Eddies POV

I honestly feel really bad..saying all those horrible stuff to Lu? that's fucked up..she probably thinks I'll really love Chrissy when i love Lu instead..I want to tell her i love her but after that argument, i highly doubt she'll accept a piece of shit like me. I was about to cover myself in the blanket and head to bed when i noticed Lu took all the blanket wrapping herself in it. "Lu..i need some blanket.." she sniffled as she gave me some "Sorry.." her voice broke, my eyes widened as i sat up, is she crying? shit..

No ones POV

Eddie put his hand on Lu's shoulder causing her to tense up "Lu..im- I'm so sorry..i didn't mean to make you cry.." He said softly, Lu sat up looking at him starting to cry more hiccuping in between words "N-no! i-im sorry! i was m-mean and i yelled at you!" she sniffled "I-i just got so j-jea-jealous of Chrissy b-be-because i love you a-and then you said you would d-da-date Chrissy so i got upset because i-i just love you so much!" Eddie smiled softly pulling Lu on his lap holding her close to himself stroking her hair and rocking a bit calming her down "Shhh..breath sweetheart breath.." after a few minutes Lu calmed down still sniffling and hiccuping. Eddie kissed her forehead giving her some water. Lu drank as she listened to Eddie "Lu..I'm sorry as well..i didn't mean what i said and I'm not going to date Chrissy because i do not love her Lu..i love you, ever since i first met you over time I've grown so attached to you that i want to be with you. i love you Lu Henderson" Lu started to sniffle and hiccup again as she was about to cry again causing Eddie to pull her back into a close hug comforting her. They both laid down as Lu looked up at him with swollen red eyes, Eddie smiling softly wiping her tears then kissing her to which Lu returns. Soon Lu falls asleep in his arms, Eddie kisses her forehead and then going to bed as well.
