Chapter 4

That night we had a great time, we danced, talked and had a sleepover. It was all how I imagined my 15th birthday to be. It was perfect!

It was 13 days until I saw my perfect band! I was SOO excited, I listened to one direction everyday and watched all the video dairies over and over again. I bought all the merchandise ready for the big day! Me, Becca, Nat and my auntie were all excited and just the fact we meet the boys is the icing on the most perfect cake ever!:)

A few days later,I was on my way to Manchester to meet the girls to go shopping, when I started having a headache. I thought is was the start of a migraine so just to be wary I canceled the shopping trip and went home to bed.

The next morning it had all gone and I felt much better. It was only 4 days until the show and I was ready. I began my day with a mighty stretch and rolled over to get out of bed, when there was a massive bang. I had fallen. I didn't know what was wrong with me. I couldn't open my eyes, I couldn't see anything, the room was completely black, I stumbled along the corridor to what I though was the bathroom. Turned out it was the staircase. I tripped and fell straight to the bottom just by the front door. It felt like I had broken every bone in my body and more.

"HELLPPP!!!!!", I screamed. But there was no body in. I just lay on the floor, lifeless and there was nothin I could do about it. A few hours later my auntie came home from work to see me unconscious on the floor. She rushed to the phone.

"Hello ambulance please, my niece is unconscious!" She sobbed. She whispered in my ear, everything's going to be alright."

Before I knew it I was back in hospital, back to the wires of morphine, blood and a drip. Back to my worst nightmare. I heard the doctors conferring when I regained consciousness.

"It looks like she has damaged her spinal cord, and she is potentially blind." The doctor said.

I knew I was in trouble!
