Trey's phone kept on ringing. Erica tried dialing his number once again, in the hopes of waking him up. After calling him for the umpteenth time, he finally picks up and groggily answered, "Hello?"
"Trey?" Erica sweetly greeted. "Gising na po."
Napabalikwas si Trey sa kama niya nang marinig niya ang boses sa kabilang linya. He thought it would either be Nico or Alvin who will wake him up. He's so ready to scream at them for waking him up but how could he even scream at that sweet voice?
"Erica?" he guessed. "Bakit ka tumawag?"
"Pinapagising ka nila sa akin eh. Kumain ka na ng almusal mo," malambing na bilin nito.
He got up from his bed with a huge smile. Heading towards the bathroom, he managed to ask her, "How about you? Have you eaten your breakfast?"
"Kakaluto ko lang," sagot nito. "Uy, sige na. Baka maubos pa yung load ko."
Nalungkot naman agad si Trey sa sinabi ng dalaga. "Alright. Send me a picture of your breakfast!"
Erica chuckled from the other line. Pakiramdam yata ni Trey, buo na agad yung araw niya.
"See you later, Trey."
"See you. And oh," pahabol ni Trey, "thank you for waking me up."
"Walang anuman," she said and then ended the call for the both of them.
Before he proceeds to brush his teeth, he saved her number in his contacts as 'Bubbles 🫧.'
