They arrived in Vienna early in the morning and took a seat on a bench while Harry googled hotels. He found a cheap one with 24-hour reception and since it wasn't that far away they walked. The city was still sleepy. They found the right hotel and booked a room for the night. Harry dropped his bag on the floor as soon as they entered their room.
"I'm gonna take a shower.""Can I join you?" Louis asked.
"Sure, yeah." Harry smiled.
They found shampoo and shower gel in their bags and headed to the bathroom. Harry felt a little shy as he started to undress. They had seen each other naked by now but not in broad daylight like this. He hesitated briefly before he pulled down his boxers. He looked up just to find Louis watching him. He blushed lightly. Louis took a step forward and pulled him in by the hip.
"You are gorgeous. Every inch of you. Just perfection."Harry rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, right. Look, love handles, four nipples." He started to count what he considered flaws while pointing them out.Louis shook his head.
"Don't do that. Baby, you're perfect."Harry blushed crimson red. Baby? He loved that! He captured Louis' lips and kissed him. When they needed to come up for air he tucked his nose in the crook of Louis' neck.
"You're perfect too. So beautiful. So sexy. Wonderful personality. Perfect."He raised his head and caught Louis beaming. They stepped into the shower and spent most of it kissing but they washed each other's hair as well through giggles. They finished it with a handjob before they got out and got dressed.
They headed outside after that to explore Vienna.
"So what is your number one thing on your list that you would like to do?" Louis asked as they strolled down the street."Honestly? Watch an Opera but I didn't exactly bring a suit." Harry smiled.
"We, me neither, but that's fixable." Louis grinned.
"I don't have the money to buy a suit and I can't fit it in my backpack afterward." Harry said, sounding amused.
"How about we find a second-hand store, buy something cheap, and leave it behind?" Louis suggested and wiggled his eyebrows.
"That's crazy!" Harry giggled.
"So what? We have to live while we're young. What do you say? Are you in?" Louis questioned.
"Do you even like opera?" Harry wondered.
"I guess we have to find out. My treat. You took me to a football game. So?" Louis asked, looking at Harry with a smile playing on his lips.
Harry smacked a wet kiss on Louis' cheek.
"Yes!""Alright, first thing first, tickets." Louis said and took out his phone. "Vienna State Opera?"
Harry nodded his head.
"Alright, alright, eh, La Traviata?" Louis asked and looked up from his phone.
"Sounds great!" Harry beamed.
Louis gave him a calculating look.
"Do you even know what it's about?""Nope, no clue." Harry grinned.
Louis shook his head in amusement. A minute later he put his phone away.
"Alright, we have tickets. Let's find something to wear!""Don't put your phone away then. Find a second-hand shop!" Harry smiled.
"Right!" Louis chuckled and picked up his phone again.
Twenty minutes later they had managed to locate a second-hand shop. They walked inside and headed to the men's section. With a lot of jokes and giggles, they went through the selection of suits. They grabbed a couple of different options and headed to the changing room.
They put on a show for each other as they tried on different suits. Louis settled for a black one and found a blue button-up shirt that matched his eyes. Harry fell for a slightly different one, white with a black flower pattern. He got a black button-up shirt to go with it and they found bow ties as well and went to the register to pay for their items.
They had time for some sightseeing after they dropped their bags off at the hotel. Harry asked if they could visit the Belvedere Museum and Louis easily agreed. It was a magnificent building but Harry was most excited over Gustav Klimt's painting The Kiss. He stared at it in awe for a solid twenty minutes without speaking.
"Why do you love this painting so much?" Louis asked curiously."I don't know. The colors, the motive. It's so tender. Beautiful." Harry said devoutly.
"It's a great painting." Louis agreed.
As they left the Museum they walked around exploring the city a little before they ordered sushi takeout and brought it back to their hotel room. They ate an early dinner and then it was time to get ready for the opera. They both changed into their suits.
They looked at each other.
"We cleaned up nice. I just hope no one notices our sneakers." Louis said."Probably not. You look stunning." Harry replied. He couldn't take his eyes off Louis.
"So do you. Shall we?" Louis asked and reached out his hand for Harry to take.
They took a cab to the Opera house. Harry couldn't sit still. He was so excited. Louis just laughed softly and put a hand on Harry's thigh to calm him. It had quite the opposite effect but for different reasons.
They felt out of place as they stepped inside the Opera house. Harry almost broke his neck looking up at the ceiling.
"Cool!"They found their seats and Hary was still looking all around them, trying to take it all in. Louis ok the other hand couldn't take his eyes off Harry, smiling fondly.
The curtains opened and the opera began. Two minutes in Louis leaned in to whisper in Harry's ear.
"They speak Italian! I don't understand a word they say.""You don't have to. You'll understand what it's about anyway." Harry whispered back.
They watched the rest of it in silence. Harry got emotional when Violetta and Alfredo declared their tragic love with songs. Louis held his hand.
Harry talked about the opera all the way back to their hotel. Louis shut him up with his lips as soon as they stepped inside their room. They undressed each other, throwing their suits on the floor as they made their way to the bed.
They didn't take it any further than blowing each other but they were both thinking about it.
