"Well, Master Damien your gonna have a birthday party after school either way" Alfred pointed out while packing Damien's backpack as he was getting dressed.
"So? I still think this birthday party thing is more than stupid" Damien was tieing his shoes.
Damian took his backpack from Alfred and they both headed downstairs. But something was off, literally, no one said happy birthday not even Dick Grayson and that says a lot considering he's the most joyful robin here.
"Hey, little D how's it going?" Jason Todd asked getting some orange juice from the fridge.
"Hey" this was odd even for him none of them wished him a happy birthday and he felt hurt.
"OH, I can drive you to school if you like," Dick asked grabbing his car keys and backpack.
No 'how's your birthday going little D' from Jason or no 'you'll be a fossil in 5 years like Dick' from Tim heck he wasn't even called 'boogie bear Wayne by Dick.
Dick drove Damien to school handing him his lunch.
Damien was sitting at lunch with Johnathan Kent besides Alfred, John was the only person who wished him a happy birthday. There wasn't even a note saying 'enjoy your birthday' from his father or he didn't get his birthday lunch. It might seem like everyone forgot it was his birthday. He thought he was gonna cry so he told John he was going to the bathroom.
But he was gonna call Barbara.
"Hello?" She said on the other end.
"Hey, um Barbara where are you?" No happy birthday either?
"Um, at the store why?"
"Nevermind" Damien was gonna cry this family made him 'soft' is what his mother would have said.
"They did forget" Damien cried to himself for the rest of lunch.
He was sitting in his 6th-hour class till he was called to go home.
'Odd father never told he was being picked up early' he thought.
As Damien was walking outside just to see the lovely Barbara Gordon, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, and Tim Drake holding a sign that says ' happy birthday baby Wanye' with the lyrics of an old song 'happy birthday to ya.'
"HEY LITTLE D" all 4 of them yell as Jason walked to him holding a box.
"Father never told me I was gonna be picked this early" Jason gave him the box while wrapping his arm around his shoulders and guiding him to the car.
"OH, no believe Bruce has no idea you're leaving this early." Jason laughed.
The 5 bat kids took Damien to the zoo, and ice cream parlor.
As they walked into the manor they were greeted by a rather angry Bruce Wanye and Alfred Pennyworth, well Alfred was madder than Bruce, but on the other hand, he was smiling, cause his kids were spending time together.
Let's just say they gave Damien the best birthday party he ever had in the most unexpected way possible.
"I guess this isn't as stupid as I thought it'd be," he said blowing out the candles.
