"Remember, remember. I keep telling you this over and over again."

"Akkun..." Takemichi breathed out once more, "Akkun!!" He screamed out; planting his hands to the glass of the hair salon, tears streaming from his face.
There he was... alive and well. Even his hair stayed the same, and his body looked relatively healthy. That was the Akkun he remembered... no... he IS the Akkun that Takemichi remembered.
Upon inviting Takemichi inside, Akkun smiles while wiping down a few mirrors within the salon, his classic grin still plastered onto his face. "What are you doing here, dude?" He chuckled, watching as Takemichi sat down in a waiting chair, gazing around the dimly lit salon, utterly astonished. "Well... I got a notification on my phone about coming here..." Takemichi shrugged, flashing his cell phone before retracting back into his pocket.
Akkun jolts with an embarrassed giggle, "Oh right!" He scratches the back of his neck, "I know it's pretty late, but the reason I called you here is because... well..." He smiles warmly, "My boss is finally gonna let me start cutting customers' hair next month."
Akkun turns in the direction of Takemichi, smiling brightly with his eyes closed, "And you? Will be my first customer. You promised, remember?" Takemichi could feel his heart swell up with a mixture of different emotions, happiness being almost all of them.
He couldn't help but smile softly as he thought back to that promise, a promise they were still keeping despite twelve years passing, that part alone... made his heart swell. This wave of emotion was so overwhelming that Takemichi couldn't even utter a response before his entire body curled into a ball and his tears hit the floor.
He did it. He finally did it. The past... had been changed.
'This proves it... I think I can finally believe it! I actually... changed the present!!' He thought, tilting his head upward. "Hey, Akkun..." He sniffled, quickly wiping away his tears. The wine-haired male perks up with a hum.
"Where are the others? Like Yamagishi, Makoto, and Takuya?"
Akkun almost froze at that question, it was as if their names made his body... tense up. But he quickly covers his uneasiness up with a grin. "Oh, you know them. They're doing their own thing! I actually talked with Yamagishi a week ago and he said he's doing great."
His response was so... plain, almost forced. It was like he conjured up the perfect response that made Takemichi feel suspicious. But he quickly brushed it off as another question popped into his mind.
(Y/N).
Where was she? Was she... still alive?
Takemichi's body tensed up with uneasiness, he had to ask about that, or else his nervousness would swallow him whole. "Hey... Akkun?"
The tall wine-haired male turned around, waiting for Takemichi to utter his dying question, "Do you... know where (Y/N) is? I've been trying to get in contact with her but...-"
"Nope, I have no idea," Akkun answered abruptly, completely cutting Takemichi's question short. It was a quick response all-in-all. Too quick. It made Takemichi even more suspicious, not to mention confused. If Akkun didn't know where (Y/N) was then... who did?
Once again, uneasiness swarmed within Takemichi's stomach. Now that he had full-blown proof that he had time-leaped and altered the present, there was another unsolved mystery rummaging through his mind. Where the hell was Hinata and (Y/N)?
