"You don't know what I've done, I'm wanted and on the run." - Message Man, Twenty One Pilots

Keith

"A wolf? Why're you choosing that?" I asked as I leaned over her shoulder. She faced her petite figure to me after picking out of the plastic box and clasped the charm shaped like the animal onto her own bracelet. She insisted we buy one together after school. I think it's kind of sweet.

"Because you remind me of one. You're always surrounded by people, so you're like a wolf travelling in a pack." She admired the silver charm on her wrist and didn't look at me when she said it. Perhaps she was feeling shy. Freya continued speaking, "Also, you're like...getting hairier by the day."

She wore an amused expression on her face and she rubbed my forearm mockingly. I swallowed and didn't answer to that.

...

I ran after the incident. Blood stained my hands and clothes. Freya shouted my name over and over but I didn't dare look back. I cursed when I tripped suddenly and scraped my knee but I quickly got up and sprinted. I hissed from the pain of running with an injury but I ignored it. I...right in front of her... I need to get away from here.

...

Familiar emerald eyes pierced into mine, staring at me. Trickling like water at first, painful memories soon flooded me. I never thought I'd see her again.

Freya

Keith glanced to the side and his eyes lit up. He muttered "Perfect," and walked past me. I followed curiously. He picked a charm out of another plastic box and held something that looked like glass between his index finger and thumb. I squinted my eyes at the small object.

"It's a fish..."

What is he thinking?

"A goldfish. To symbolise the forgetfulness of Miss Freya Ambrose."

I smacked his hairy arm and he chuckled, unaffected by my hit. Damn.

"What kind of family name is Ambrose anyway? Do you belong to a clan of witches?" He quipped jokingly, putting on the charm on his own bracelet.

I evaded the question. "W-well, what kind of family name is Elric? Do you belong to a clan of elves?" He laughed heartily, then I saw an expression I couldn't read set in his face.

"Close enough."

...

I fell onto the concrete helplessly with a loud thud, and the boy cackled. I could feel my vision blurring as tears streamed down my face. I was sure blood was dripping somewhere from my body. Keith appeared suddenly and shouted at the boy who pushed me. my ears were ringing and I couldn't hear what was being said. Keith shoved the boy roughly, however it was countered, Keith was hit square in the jaw, and an awful cracking sound was be heard. Keith faltered but then he got his balance back. He stood up straight, his eyes tinted in an eerie glow. The boy backed away in fear. Before the boy had a chance to escape, Keith transformed into a murderous canine before my eyes and tackled him.

...

Familiar hazel eyes pierced into mine, staring at me. I still remember everything. I never thought I'd see him again.
