My door knocked once again. "Come on in," I said putting on the blush, Lucio, entered, his face unreadable. "What's wrong?" I asked looking at him. "The wedding, just come downstairs, now," he said closing the door. What was happening, I held my wedding dress and walked down the white carpet. Lucio looked at me once before locking the door.

Damian opened it, "I am sorry," he mouthed as he motioned us in. I pushed past him, my hair already falling out of my low bun. "What's wrong Papa?" I asked looking at all my brothers. Christon was seated next to Papa his fist rolled. Eduardo was visibly fuming, Lucas had a wound on his arm, possibly a gunshot, Lucio was shaking his head while Damian was silent something was seriously wrong.

"Papa," I called again. "You are to marry, Vincenzo Hermes" he said his voice absolute. "What?" I asked. "This is wrong Papa, he is a Hermes, the heir to that family and she us our sister your own daughter at least think about her," Eduardo said. "The decision is made, the wedding will take place today. This is a peace treaty between the two families, a greater and more powerful alliance than the Gio's. The Gio are already with us and with the Hermes we will be untouchable," Papa said.

I was still trying to wrap my head around everything that was happening. "What about Xavier, he is perfect for her," Damian said. Papa looked at him with a smile, "Xavier was planning to run with his lover and I am sure your sister knew, didn't you love?" he asked. I looked away, he was Nico Sparta who was I kidding, he knew everything. I cursed my luck as I took in everyone's face.

"and I am sure you can manage six months living with him," he said taking a drag of his cigar. "Three months?" Christon asked. Papa smiled a bit, "you didn't think I was really marrying my only daughter off to that boy did you?" he asked followed by a laugh. None of us seemed to find it funny. "Listen and listen well, Alexandra you have six months, make him fall in love with you, get all the information you can get out of him and at the end of it finish off the Hermes line,"

"Kill him?" I asked. "Yes, be his lover, his wife and them when he trusts you enough break that trust and kill him," he said. I just stared at him as he got up. "Wear something red instead of blue," he said taking one last drag. "Tell that boy not to use the window next time there are people around," my father whispered before walking out of the room.

"What is wrong with him?" Eduardo asked. "Calm down," Christon said. "No, Ed is right. They are monsters, Lexi is our sister not his pawn," Lucio said. "But if she manages to do it it would be our greatest victory wiping of the whole line," Lucas said. I walked upto him and started dressing his wound.

"You are willing to risk her life for it, Lucas she is our sister understand it," Lucio said for the first time disagreeing with his twin. "Lucio, we will be there to oversee everything. She won't be in any danger," Christon said. "Still you all can't look past your selfishness for once, Papa isn't always fucking right," Eduardo said.

"Ed, you are overreacting," Lucas said flinching a bit at the wound. "It's fine," I whispered. "He is right, they are not good people," Lucio said. "We are there get it you two," Christon said. "Stop it," Damian said before anyone else could get another word out. "This isn't our choice or Papa's choice to make. Lexi what do you think?" he asked.

I stood up, I knew the answer. "I can do it," I said. I had to do it, it was about the pride of our family. I couldn't be distracted, I couldn't disappoint. "You don't have to do it if you don't want to," Eduardo said. "Are you sure, Lex?" Lucio asked. I looked at all of them and nodded, "I am sure," I said.

Christon walked towards me and handed me a silver knife with a diamond on the hilt, "make sure this has the blood of a Hermes," he said. "It will," I said remembering the grey eyes once again. I was meant to kill him.

"Be careful," he said as I ran my fingers through the edges, "I will," I said. "You still have the chance to say no," Eduardo said. "Are you doubting my capabilities brother?" I asked glaring at him. They sometimes seemed to underestimate me, I was also a Sparta and they would be idiots to forget that. "I am not doubting you, I am concerned about you there is a difference sister," Eduardo said.

I smiled at him and looked at the gleaming knife, "you don't have to Ed, I will do what no one in our family could do. I will be the death of the dynasty. Now if you all will excuse me, I have a wedding to attend," I walked past them.
