Chapter 31

Katy POV :

I smiled at Ben while he laid his head on the pillow. He scrunched his noise together like a little puppy which caused my smile to grow even bigger.

"Do you think we will arrive soon ?" I asked him even though I knew it would be awhile till we got there. He opened his eyes and slightly smiled " almost , almost " he repeated while his eyes closed again.

A few days earlier ...

" Babe remember when you told me you wanted to go back to L.A ?" Ben asked me while I sat in the living room. I nodded my head at him as he stood in front of me. "Well I might have bought two tickets for first class for L.A " he said with a smile, I looked at him In shock. His smile slowly disappeared at my reaction.

" Your not happy ?" He said while setting the tickets down. I stood up and grabbed him by the face and smiled " of course I am ! " I said getting on my tippy toes and pecking his lips. He smiled and I let go of his face and sat back down on the couch.

" So when .. Are we going ? " I asked slowly. He sat down next to me and put his hand on my leg " in three days, and also i told your family already so don't worry about that " he added.

I nodded my head and looked down at my lap trying to take in everything he just told me. I haven't been back to my hometown since the day the boys adopted me. It's been a while and I guess I would have had to go back there sooner or later but I didn't know it had to be now.

Back to the present
moment ...

"My beautiful princess it's time to get off of the plane " Ben whispered in my ear I smiled as his breath tickled my ear. I opened my eyes to his beautiful brown eyes.

He kissed my lips and stood up to get are bags I assumed. I looked out of the window and I just couldn't believe We were here to where everything started. I stood up and walked past Ben while he struggled to get are bags I smirked at him and I could feel him smirking as well.

" Stop starting at my butt it's rude " he said in a high pitch girl voice. I laughed and hugged him from behind as he carried down the two bags. " You make a weird girl voice and I'm pretty sure a girl wouldn't say that she would either give you a disgusted look on her face or slap you or maybe call you a pig or cuss you out , endless things that are way worse then telling you to stop staring at her butt but good try " I said.

He turned around and put his hands on my waist " am I here on a trip with my girlfriend or my high school English teacher ? " He said smiling. I gasped and slapped his arm. " Ouch ! " He shouted while rubbing the spot on his arm where I hit him. "Did I hurt little bens arm ? " I said in a baby's voice. He rolled his eyes " no ! I was just faking the pain to make you feel better " he said all cocky.

Now I was the one rolling my eyes " sure ! But anyways hurry up half of the people are gone " I said grabbing my bag and walking over to the exit.

Once out of the airport Ben said he rented a car and it should be here any second or something along the lines. " Are you sure you rented a car ? " I asked him as we stood outside looking like weirdos. He laughed and nodded his head and hugged me from the side.

" Few more minutes ... Hopefully " he said all nervous. " Mhm your better be right ! " was all I said. After waiting 20 minutes in the burning heat weather of L.A are car finally arrived. I wasn't that mad because the car for sure was worth while waiting for. We put are Luggage in the trunk and got into the car.

He smirked as in saying I told you so but I just ignored him. He pressed a button and the roof lifted and slid back. I smiled and clapped my hands " I have a feeling this is going to be a vacation Im going to forget " I said more to myself then Ben but he agreed anyways. He turned on the engine and put his sun glasses on and drove off.
