It had been 3 years since Gon and Pitou were last seen by their friends, during their time Pitou got the chance to see her friends after she met with the Queen of Hasu, Jupiter.
The two thought it would be great if they could spend time with each other, their relationship had grown and become ever closer. It was nice for once and during this time Pitou had become a full-fledged Pro-Hunter with the help of Gon she was able to pass with flying colors.
Meaning she would now to be able to travel the world however she saw fit. while she was working hard and proving to the Hunters Association she wasn't a threat, with the help of Jupiter, she was able to make her case and offer her Chimera citizenship. making her among the many chimeras that lived in peace within Demi-Humans and normal Humans in society.
She had finally earned her peace.
A few months passed by and the two were staying at Whale Island for the time being. It was more like a vacation for them since it had been 3 whole years since he had seen his aunt Mito and his grandmother.
Gon was busy doing his usual fishing and to him, it felt like it has been ages since the last time he had done this activity. Gon at this point in his life was 18 years old and he grew up to be a nice young man about hit his 20s.
"Come on.....I know you're out there" he said as he was waiting patiently for his prize. He had already been out fishing today and only caught medium size fish, only to toss them back and resumed his fishing.
That is until he felt a tug.
"3......2......1!!!" With all his might he used his strength and pulled out the massive beast from the ocean and finally got what he wanted.
"Alright!!!..Hahaha!! Finally got ya, I'm sure this will be enough for everyone." He said as he carried the fish on his back and headed home for today.
A lot has changed from the outside the world but strangely enough, everything was the same for Whale Island. Few Demi-humans were here and there but everything remained the same, as he was walking home he notice the fishermen were also ready to head home as well after a long day of hard work.
"Hey, Gon! Are you leaving for today?" The old man asked him.
"Yup! I'll see you guys next week ok, Same time as always!" He said cheerfully.
as he was walking home the sun was setting down and night slowly started to come. It was late and he had been out all day and it was finally time to get dinner started, of course, he wouldn't be the only one preparing for dinner.
After some time of walking, he finally made it back and he was greeted by Mito.
"About time young man, I was wondering if you ever show up🤭you got me worried and I was thinking you headed off to another adventure again." Mito said as she giggled at him
"Right....ehehehe, today's catch was tricky today but at least I'm home so I'll get this started." 😅😓 Gon said as he took the fish outback.
"Before you do, someone has been waiting for you today, you know it's rude to keep a lady waiting right?" Mito jokingly teased him.
He went to the back of the house and place the fish on a large table and went inside. He headed for the kitchen and he saw his grandmother and of course, Pitou was there too.
"About time young man...these old bones were getting tired," his grandmother said. She was busy cutting up vegetables and some potatoes. While Pitou was making spicy curry.
