Sunpelt feels something kick him causing him to wake up.
Skykit he thinks.
"Skykit get back here" Sunpelt meows.
"But I want to be with Nightcloud" she squeaks loudly waking Foxtail.
"Come here Skykit" Foxtail meows beckoning her with his tail.
Skykit stomps her paws and pads back.
"She always listens to you" Sunpelt whispers to Foxtail.
"Take those kits outside if you're going to keep me awake all night" Ravenpelt meows.
"Sorry" Sunpelt meows.
Moving Speckkit closer to him while Foxtail does the same with Skykit.

A paw hits Sunpelt on the belly he wakes up and sees Speckkit hitting him.
"I'm hungry" she squeaks.
"Let's go see if the hunting patrols are back" Sunpelt meows.
Speckkit accidentally steps on Fireclaws tail as she follows Sunpelt out.
"Hey!" Fireclaw meows looking back to see who did it "Oh it's you"
"Sorry" Speckkit squeaks as she follows Sunpelt out of the Warrior's den.
Sunpelt sees Riverstar drop a few pieces of prey on the pile and take a small mouse for himself.
Riverstar looks at Speckkit with hurt in his eyes before bounding up to his den.
"Go wake Foxtail and Skykit" Sunpelt meows at Speckkit.
"Ok," she squeaks running into the Warrior's den.
Sunpelt runs up to Riverstars den.
"May I come in?" Sunpelt asks Riverstar.
"Sure"
"What's wrong?" Sunpelt asks.
"What do you mean?" Riverstar meows.
"The way you look at Speckkit and Skykit?"
"There's nothing wrong" Riverstar meows.
"Are you sure?" Sunpelt presses.
"I'm sure..." Riverstar meows "Oh Sunpelt Speckkit, and Skykit aren't my kits they are Ravenfoots" Riverstar meows crying.
"I am right?" Sunpelt asks bewildered.
"You are, you are" Riverstar meows still crying "Get Ravenfoot, now!"
"I will" Sunpelt meows.
Don't get Ravenfoot get Brightpuddle he thinks.
Sunpelt runs to the medicine den.
"Brightpuddle?" Sunpelt asks poking his head through the den cover.
"Is it Foxtail or the kits?" Brightpuddle asks stretching.
"No, Riverstar" Sunpelt meows.
"I'm coming"
Sunpelt and Brightpuddle rush up the rocks to Riverstars den.
Sunpelt goes in first.
"Did you bring him?" Riverstar asks.
"No, I brought Brightpuddle" Sunpelt meows.
"Very well" Riverstar meows.
"Riverstar Nightcloud told me, I'm sorry but you shouldn't take out your rage on Ravenfoot" Brightpuddle meows.
"I won't do anything" Riverstar meows "But who will raise them?"
"Brightpuddle could you get Ravenfoot?" Sunpelt asks.
"Sure thing" Brightpuddle meows heading out of the den.
Sunpelt hears Ravenfoot complain to Brightpuddle about waking him up.
Ravenfoot steps into the den.
"What's going on?" Ravenfoot asks.
"I know you are the father of Skykit and Speckkit" Riverstar meows.
"It was an accident" Ravenfoot meows looking at his paws.
"It doesn't matter what it was, we need to figure out who can be the father to the kits" Riverstar meows.
"I won't be the father, I don't love them or Nightcloud" Ravenfoot meows.
"Then who will be?" Riverstar presses.
"Why not Sunpelt and Foxtail?" Brightpuddle asks.
Riverstar looks at Sunpelt.
"Will you?" Riverstar asks.
"I need to ask Foxtail first before we decide anything" Sunpelt meows surprised seeing Brightpuddle rush out of the den.
Brightpuddle pushes Foxtail into the den.
"What's going on?" Foxtail asks looking at Sunpelt.
"Would you and Sunpelt like to father Speckkit and Skykit?" Riverstar asks.
"Do you want to Sunpelt?" Foxtail asks.
"If you do"
"Then we will" Foxtail meows.
"Thank you" Riverstar meows.
Ravenfoot leaves with Foxtail and Sunpelt following behind him. Brightpuddle stays behind in Riverstars den.
Sunpelt jumps down and Foxpaw follows behind him.
"How should we tell them?" Sunpelt whispers into Foxtail's ear.
"We just tell them" Foxtail meows.

"Brightscar could you take Grass out for some air?" Sunpelt asks.
"Hey, I don't ne-" Grass meows before Brightscar gets her out of the den.
"Skykit and Speckkit, Riverstar isn't your father" Foxtail meows.
"Who is?" Skykit squeaks.
"We don't know, but Riverstar has asked us to be your fathers" Sunpelt meows feeling guilty for lying.
"Is this okay?" Foxtail asks.
"Yes, you are the best dads already!" Speckkit squeaks moving towards Foxtail and Sunpelt.
"I guess!" Skykit squeaks joining Speckkit near Foxtail and Sunpelt.
"Can we sleep in the Nursery?" Skykit squeaks.
"Sure, we will figure it out" Sunpelt meows.
Foxtail nuzzles Sunpelt.
"I always imagined fathering kits, with you" Foxtail meows.
"So did I" Sunpelt meows.
