Chapter 14

It's been a week since Sana started to avoid Tzuyu. She believed Jungkook's words, she avoided the latter. On the other hand, Tzuyu was hurt and confused. She knew to herself that she didn't do anything wrong to make Sana mad at her. Is it because she didn't come in when Sana was in the clinic? Is it because she didn't visit the squirrel? She didn't know and also, Sana's friend didn't have any idea why. But Mina and Chaeyoung wondered why Jungkook was always with them.

"Why are we waiting for him exactly?" Chaeyoung sat down with her food on their table. They were waiting for Jungkook. Mina rolled her eyes as she continued to eat. It was nice to have a new friend but Jungkook? Mina doesn't want to talk about him anymore.

"He wants to join us," Sana murmured, and got her lunchbox.

Mina and Chaeyoung looked at each other with confusion, raising both of their eyebrows before they exclaimed, "AGAIN?!"

"I thought he hated you? What's going on?" Mina slammed her fist on the table. Chaeyoung rubbed the latter's shoulder to calm her down. Sana sighed and massaged her temples, "Nothing's going on guys. Jungkook just wanted to be friends with us and he didn't…hate me."

Mina rolled her eyes, "Of course, you will defend him. He's your crush after all, right?", She sarcastically uttered.

"What happened to Tzuyu?" Chaeyoung frowned. She missed the giant already. She always saw Tzuyu having her lunch break at the library's balcony whenever she walked in the field. Sana tilted her head and cleared her throat. Chaeyoung decided to shut her mouth when she didn't hear Sana saying something. They became silent as soon as they saw Jungkook, excitedly running to their table.

"Hi guys" He grinned and sat beside Sana. Sana puts a fake smile on her face before she munches her food. What Mina observed is that Jungkook is the new Tzuyu. She noticed lately that Jungkook is the one who brought Sana's home and not Tzuyu anymore. She speculated that Sana and Tzuyu probably had a fight. She doesn't like getting involved in their quarrel but she hates it because she knows her friend is not okay.

She should be happy that Jungkook was with her, yet, she doesn't look happy at all, Mina thought.

"Sana, do you want to stroll around the park later when we get home?" They heard Jungkook ask with full of excitement in his voice. They stared at Sana, waiting for her answer. She was about to speak when Chaeyoung suddenly yelled.

"Tzuyu!" She shouted, raising her hand, they all turned her heads. Tzuyu has a stoic face, looking at them and Jungkook suddenly feels nervous.

The old Tzuyu was coming back again, He thought.

Tzuyu passed by them, ignoring them. Chaeyoung's smile gradually faded and her hand that was in the air dropped rapidly like it was numb.

"She ignores me," She whispered. Mina glanced at her and shook her head, thinking that Chaeyoung was hilarious. Chaeyoung continued to complain about why Tzuyu ignored them.

"She's probably not in the mood," Mina replied unsurely.

"Nope" Jungkook chuckled. "She doesn't want to meet you guys again because there's a rumor that Tzuyu is friends with the lower section to humiliate you guys" He continued. Mina was in rage at what she had heard, same with Chaeyoung.

"Are you not lying?" Chaeyoung furrowed. She was in disbelief because even though she just met Tzuyu recently, she knew that Tzuyu was kind like an angel. She didn't expect to hear it from Jungkook. "I have to talk to Jeongyeon about this," Chaeyoung sighed. Jungkook's eyes widened when he heard Jeongyeon's name.
