I'm not going to forgive you. This is an absurd, unfair world.
-Aiko SuzukiAIKO'S POV
What is this? Kido... Is not... Dead? Gai isn't as well? What the hell is this?
Gai jumped off the wall and took the sword out of Inori, then slicing off Shu's right arm. Shu looked at with fear in his eyes.
No... This can't be Gai! Why would he do this? More importantly, Kido is on his side?
Tsugumi was shouting for me to get into the buggy. I made one of my cloned voids explode the Tsugumi Clone and ran towards the buggy. Then Argo drove off.
I kept silent, trying to process what has happened.
Kido is not dead... What the hell is going on exactly? Ugh!
I hit the wall with my anger and confusion.
"Are you okay, Aiko?" Tsugumi asked.
"Kido is alive..." I said quietly.
"You saw him? I knew it wasn't a fake!" Tsugumi replied.
"What the heck is wrong with Gai though..." Ayase said and glanced to the side. Her eyes were filled with confusion and sadness.
"I don't know, but for one thing, it just isn't Gai for him to be working with the enemy we fought for oh so long!" Tsugumi said. "It's just not right!"
"Wait, where's Inori and Shu?" I asked.
"Don't know, they ran off, hopefully they are safe," Ayase replied.
I nodded.
"Do you know where we can go to hide out?" Argo asked.
"I know! Kido's old house! No one has lived there for like a decade," I replied, then I felt like I was going to regret it.
"All right, give me the directions," Argo said.

I took the key from my necklace and slot it in the keyhole.
"Come on in," I said and walked in.
"Whoa, that dude had a really big house," Argo commented.
"Yeah..." I replied softly and looked down.
"Is it really okay? Aiko?" Ayase asked in a concerned voice. "We know how much he meant to you..."
"It's fine, not like he would bother anyway," I replied.
"All right," Tsugumi said. "Hopefully there are enough rooms for the three of us."
"Three?" I asked. Isn't it four?
"I got to head back to the Kuhouin House," Argo said. "To tell them about what happened."
"Okay then, have a safe trip," I replied.
"Sure," Argo said and left.
"Well, let's make ourselves at home. It has been a long day..." I said and headed to Kido's old bedroom. "Good night!"
I laid on Kido's bed. It felt cold. Like something was missing.
Kido... Where are you when I need you? Ugh. I have to think of something else...
I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep, but then awaken by the crackling of lightning and the sound of thunder.
I tucked onto the bed sheet and tried to hold back the tears.
Where are you Kido? I am scared...
I tucked onto the bed sheet tighter.
I miss you... But why... When I see you again... We are on different sides?
I opened my eyes and wiped away my tears.
I'm not going to forgive you. This is an absurd, unfair world. So even if you beg for mercy in the end. I won't forgive you. This is the world we live in, beloved.
I closed my eyes and smiled.
Heh. I won't...
Then I fell asleep. Losing my sanity.

THIRD PERSON'S POV
"What's up with Aiko nowadays, it's like she's preparing for war," Tsugumi commented.
"That's because we are," Shu replied.
"Gai said that the apocalypse would be in two days. Christmas, to be precise," Ayase said.
"I know, but we've done this before, remember last Lost Christmas?" Tsugumi said.
"Yes, but this time, half of Funeral Parlour is either dead or on Gai's side," Argo said.
Aiko walked towards them and asked, "What are you guys talking about?"
"We are talking about the operation," Haruka explained.
"I see, two days left huh..."I replied.
AIKO'S POV
In two days, I see Kido again...
I smiled.
In two days. Your dead.
I laughed, then stopped and asked myself.
What the hell is wrong with me?
A dry tear escaped my eye.
Why am I like this?
