Excuse me? Main pooch rahi hoon ke aap baahar meri ghaadi dekh sakhte hai? It stopped all of a sudden...I don't have money on me right now...lekin...main bhaad mein de sakhti hoon. Hello? Hello?! What the hell...kaisi customer service hai yeh? Bani slammed her hand on the counter. She looked at the dust on the surface in disgust and frantically began to search for a tissue in her purse. The old man behind the counter finally hung up the phone, but instead of helping Bani he started organizing the receipts. Aap vaahan poochiye. He's the manager. He said without sparing her a glance. Bani looked in the direction he was pointing at. Ek minute main kyun poochu? Aap- when she turned her head back around he had taken his cup of tea and disappeared in the back. Bani sighed, then took her phone out to try her luck with her dad again. She had recently maxed out all his credit cards, snuck into the house at 6 am absolutely wasted, and stopped going to her classes. Now he was refusing to send a driver to pick her up. Bani gave him a call, but as she suspected he didn't pick up. She had no choice now but to go to this man and see if he'd be willing to fix her car for her....that too without getting paid right away.

She looked down and pulled her shirt a bit to expose her cleave some more, and sprayed some perfume on her neck. As she swayed her hips side to side and walked up to the man, he was busy teaching a junior employee about a certain motor. The guy appeared to be young, thank god or else Bani would cringe while flirting with an old man, and he was wearing a dark grey mechanic's body suit, black work boots, and a navy blue hat. He had his back towards Bani and was so engrossed in his work that he didn't even turn his face. Bani looked at this milky complexion (she could see the back of his ears) and was slightly turned on by his rugged voice. Excuse me? Bani whispered. It wasn't like Bani Sharma to be this polite. The guy continued working. Bani rolled her eyes and tried again, this time stepping closer and raising her voice a bit. Hello? Meri ghaadi kharaab hogi...can you fix it? Please? Her tongue stung anytime she had to use the word please. The junior employee twisted his head and glanced at Bani, then checked her out head to toe. Bani gave him a bit of a glare knowing this idiot wouldn't be the one to get her what she wants. Hello? I know ke aap kaafi busy ho...but I really need help. The junior employee smirked a bit and nudged his boss. Bhai...peeche...customer...ladki. He said. The manager turned slightly, revealing just a hint of his face, and replied We're completely booked right now. Ghaadi chodh do...maybe we'll get it to you after a week. Bani stepped forward, scrunching her eyebrows. She needed her car asap and didn't want her dad questioning her as to where his car's disappeared to. I...I need it today. Please. Can you just squeeze me in? However, he just shrugged and wiped his tools with a dirty white towel. There's another garage down the street. Humaare paas time nahi.

Aise kaise time nahi? I...I'll give extra money...main khall paise dedungi...aaj nahi hai...but...I will. I promise. The employee giggled at her response, making Bani grit her teeth and try to keep herself from telling this idiot to get lost. Finally, the manager turned around. When he did Bani stopped dead in her tracks. She suddenly felt an insane attraction to this guy, something she had never felt for a man in her life. Yes she had crushes, but the way his grey eyes pierced hers, made her feel as if it was just him and her in that room. All she could see this sexy, dashing, incredibly good looking man in front of her. The slight grease on his forehead, small cut below his lip, gold chain, and veins popping out of his forearms just drove her crazy. She had already forgotten about all her problems and what she came there for. Veeranshu Singhania, the manager of the garage looked Bani dead straight in the eye and without any emotion at all replied Aggar ghaadi chodni hai choddo. I said we don't have time. Ponky will help you. Ponky, his junior employee came running up to Bani, giddy with excitement. Yes madam. Aaye...I'll help you at the counter. Bani watched as Veer walked away to another car, and didn't turn around to look at her. She had never been treated like this before by a guy. Her phone was filled with messages from guys daily begging her for a date, and here was a simple middle class guy not giving her the time of day? Excuse me?! Bani called out to him and hurried behind. Veer popped open a can of coke and began to drink. Bani came rushing up to him, but instead of being alarmed by her behaviour Veer was focused on other things. Sanjeev! Where's the damn oil I ordered? Sanjeev who was the old man at the counter earlier came up to Veer with an unlit cigarette in his mouth. Bani would normally put a napkin to her nose because she was disgusted by any smell, but right now she was only looking at Veer. In her head she was already imaging herself as his girlfriend. He was the complete opposite of her type, yet she felt as if she had known him for lifetimes and was brought on this earth just to be his. Arre yahi kahi hoga. Ek minute...boss yeh toh galat filter lagaaya hai Ponky ne. Veer groaned and looked past Bani at Ponky who was standing in the far corner eating a banana. Oye! Idiot! Yaahan aa! Bani blushed, eyes stuck on how hot he looked when he was mad. Ponky dropped his half eaten banana on the chair and ran up to Veer in a hurry. Ha Veer bhai. Bani smiled on the inside. Toh iss angry young man ka naam Veer hai? Veer grabbed Ponky by the ear and held his face right down to the filter sitting on the engine. Idiot! Yeh kya kiya? Itni mehngi ghaadi mein yeh filter lagaate hai? You know na how loyal the clients have been? Dad ke gussarne ke bhaad I have to make sure everything stays the same. Abh jaa! Storage room se saayi filter lekhar aa.
