It's fall season, so it's time for the leaves to change colours, cooler temps, and pumpkin flavour everything...also Halloween.

"This movie is cheesy," Ryan said as he glanced over at Chase, who keeps checking the time on his phone. "CHASE!" he yelled, which startled Chase. "What was that for?" Chase asked. Ryan stood up from the couch and took Chase's phone. "You keep checking the time on your phone. You do this once every month and leave before dark. You know I hate secrets." he said. He saw a reminder on his phone that says, Full Moon.

Chase snatches his phone back and says, "It's getting late. I need to get going." Before Ryan could say anything, Chase left to go back home. But Ryan's curiosity and probably a little bit of jealousy followed him home...he got out of the car and heard a commotion inside Chase's house. The door was unlocked, so he went inside a few vases, and paintings were knocked over, including a small picture frame of them broken on the floor. Ryan kept looking around the house for signs of a break-in even though he knows not to.

He saw some scratch marks on the wall and followed it to a room. He opened the door and saw a brown wolf in there he made eye contact with the wolf. "Chase? Is that you?" Ryan said with fear in his voice. The wolf growled before running towards Ryan. Ryan quickly closes the door and realized what he has discovered.

~The next morning~

Ryan saw the door to the room opening up and saw Chase walking out. "Dude, we need to talk... like right now," Ryan said. "Shit, you know?" "Know what? That you are a werewolf." "I was going to explain everything when I know more about it. plus it sounds crazy when someone says they're a werewolf."

Chase opens the door to the spare room and opens the closet, and grabs a box. The room got nothing in it besides the scratch marks on the wall and a torn-up mattress on the floor. "So you stay in here, once a month?" Ryan asked. "Yep, also hold this," Chase replied as he hands Ryan the box. "What's in here?" "research papers, silver items like bracelets and rings, and a family tree." "A family tree? Wait, don't silver kill werewolves?"

Chase closed the closet, grabbed the box, and went to the living room. He places the box next to him. "The silver thing is a myth, but it does have one benefit," Chase says as he grabs a paper from the box. Emotional transformation, "emotional transformation is what happens when strong negative emotion happens like anger or in some cases sadness. I learned that silver undoes and prevents emotional transformation." "Have you done that before?" "Yes, that's when I first found out about all of this..."

~A couple of years ago~

"Chase is still upset about that race. I don't think it's safe for him to be racing if it possibly passed down to him. I mean, his sisters don't have it, but that means he might, and who knows if this stress would cause him to be like my cousin Dorothy." Cindy said. Bill got a worried look on his face. "I honestly hoped he didn't get it because your grandparents said it was a rare gene, and since you didn't have the gene, he might not get it. But if he does, we'll be prepared," he said.

They heard something get knocked over in the other room, and then they heard a howl. Their worst fears came true. They both ran into the room and saw the brown wolf. The wolf growled at them both and backed away slowly. Bill put his hand out and said, "It's okay, Chase. You might not know what's going on, but you'll be okay." "Silver?" "What? Wouldn't that kill him?" "No, the silver thing is a myth, but it would undo an emotional transformation, which is this," Cindy said. She handed him a silver bracelet. "All he needs to do is touch the silver, and he'll turn back." Bill grabbed the bracelet and slowly moved toward the wolf. He quickly put the silver bracelet on the wolf, but the wolf bit his arm. "Ow, shit, he bit me," Bill yelled. The wolf turned back into Chase. "What? What happened here, and what happened to your arm?" Chase said. "We need to discuss what happened here. Also, don't worry about the bite. The only way to become a werewolf is if you're born one," Cindy said.
