Finney POV

(Time skipping to the next day where finney is getting ready)

I woke up to my very loud alarm, I sighed then sat up on my bed and just stayed there for a wile before getting fully up to get ready for a long sad day at school. I put on this plain shirt with this jacket that wasn't so thick because it was still pretty hot, then I put on some jeans. I got my backpack then waited for Gwen to finish getting ready, it took her 3 more minutes but she was ready now. We walked to the front door then left and started walking to school. We made it without any problems which was good Gwen said goodbye then went to her locker, I did the same. As I got my stuff out I sensed someone behind me and I was sure that it was matty, I turned around thinking that I would be immediately beat up but to my surprise, it was robin?. "Hey, you ok? Yk from yesterday.." I just stood there as he talked before nodding a bit as an answer. He nodded back then started walking away, I felt this nerve to stop him because I still needed to say thank you but I just stood there not being able to say anything. I frowned then got my stuff out and closed the locker, I walked to my first period which was science and I was happy about it, I walked into the classroom and sat down on my seat. The class started and AGAIN after about halfway in the lesson robin walked in. "Oh. Robin glad you decided to show up for once, go sit next to finney." robin nodded then sat next to me.

Robin POV

when the teacher continued to talk his heart away I couldn't help put stare at finney, I don't know why but I had this feeling. My thoughts got interrupted when the teacher said we had to do a co-op assessment, I groaned in annoyance and, finney giggled at it? Not like I care but the teacher started to pair people up, I got nervous but it went away once the teacher paired me and finney together. I don't know why I was relieved but at least I didn't have to work with someone I don't know.

Finney's POV

when Mr Johnson paired me and Robin up, to my surprise I didn't care much about it. My thoughts got cut off by the teacher "the project will be about rockets, you and your partner will have to create this rocket that will successfully fly up in the air, the person with the highest score will get a surprise" my eyes lit up when Mr Johnson said. I guess Robin noticed because he was just smiling at me, i turned my head towards robin and he just kept staring at me. I was about to say something but Robin beat me to it "hermoso, since we are gonna be partners I guess it's right if we become friends" I tilted my head in confusion by the name but nodded in response since that was the only thing I could do, Robin started talking again "well then guess we turned from strangers to friends" I smiled at what he said and nodded.
