Vance's POV
I turned my head to Bruce, "so..what are we even doing for this project" I asked with a raised eyebrow "we are making a poster of the American Revolution, I don't even know why we are doing this subject in the first place, this is like 6th grade work" Bruce says letting out a long sigh. I let out a small chuckle "well alright then, what park do you wanna do? the treaty of paris, battle of Yorktown, etc" I said which Bruce was looking at me shockingly, I let out a small smile, I can be smart when I want to be in really only doing this because it's worth 100% of my grade and I don't want to get held back.
Bruce's POV
I stared at Vance in shock wile he just laughed "w-well uhm..we can do the um Boston tea party.." Vance nodded then opened up this Chromebook that the staff gave us on the first day of school, I got mine out as well then started to research on it wile taking notes and Vance did the same which surprised me, I looked over to him question and asking myself 'does he want to get a good grade for once? wait no don't say that that's rude Bruce-' as I was thinking to myself I didn't notice that Vance was staring back at me "take a picture it'll last longer" he said with a wink, my thoughts got knocked out of my head as I furrowed my eyebrows "shut up." I said turning my head back to my Chromebook, he let out a small laugh before continuing to work. I glanced over a bit to his notebook to see how much he gotten down and to my complete shock, he had a ton of more stuff written than me in those 10 minutes we were researching. I huffed and tried to work faster so I could catch up to him and beat him but every time I thought I had gotten close he would have a whole new page of facts, I didn't even know that much of the Battle Of Yorktown existed to be completely honest. I gave up and banged my head on the desk which earned a glance from vance in which I returned , "you ok? your head looks a bit red." vance reached out his hand and before I knew it his hand was on my forehead, rubbing it softly and all I could think of was 'oh..my god.."
