" Oh my god. " were the words that escaped my mouth. I hop off Aiden's white Toyota Land Cruiser placing the sling of my bag over my shoulder. We arrived at Newport Beach just in time as the sun was setting. It had this blue color on top of the violet one then red and orange. It looks so beautiful. In my whole life, this sunset is the best I've seen. I see the waves as the they crash in the shore. I could hear that relaxing splashing sound. I close my eyes and listen. I smile and giggle. I smell fresh sea water. I think this place is perfectly romantic for couples. I mean, hello, the sunset, the beach. This is just perfect. I could feel that warm white sand on my feet since I was only wearing sandals. I forgot that the bags were still in the car. I open my eyes and turn around seeing the boys carrying our things out. I head to them and help them getting a heavy duffle bag and a light gym bag. Now, I look like I'm going camping. The thought made me grimace. Allison and Kira just went out the car and said things like 'Wow' or 'I can't wait for the party tomorrow' and other things. They were squealing like fangirls. Wow. I thought I was the fangirl. Hmph. Whatever. After the girls' monkey business, they finally decided to help us with the stuff.
There's this hotel just close to the beach. Anyone could just walk from here to there. We all go in the hotel and Aiden checks us in. Allison, Kira and me are gonna be in one hotel room. Jackson and Aiden are gonna be with Ethan, Aiden's identical twin brother. I've met Ethan before. He sometimes visits Aiden at the hardware store, at Neon's. They really looked alike. It was almost like they're the same person. I haven't just met Ethan once. Since I'm working with Aiden to the hardware store, I don't see there couldn't be a chance Aiden would introduce me too this identical twin brother. I'm not that type or friend.

There's this balcony in our hotel room. It wasn't actually a big balcony but it was great. The view of the beach from up here is totally awesome. I could see people there from here. The girls are shopping for the big party tonight. I'm guessing it's gonna be more like a club with neon lights and pop music. There's gonna be fireworks, I'm sure, is gonna be fun. I admit. I'm pretty excited too. Today's independence day. Allison and Kira are probably buying a lot of dresses right now and maybe, let's say, shoes and bags. My friends are such fashionistas. They're high heels and lipsticks but I'm all books and T-shirts.
My Ipad is in my hands and I'm facing the view from up here. I guess we're in the 4th floor. Mom has been texting me messages like how I am and what's the beach like and stuff. You know, I'm glad my mom cares about me. I'm listening to Things we lost in the fire by Bastille. I love this song. Actually, I love any type of song. Pop, Rock, Instrumental, Rap. You name it. I'll always love music. As long as they're pleasant in the ears and the lyrics would capture me. I've been alone in the hotel room for three hours and the girls still haven't returned. Let them live their life, Lydia. You're not their mom. Thank you, subconscious.
I could tell this room must be really expensive. I feel bad for the twins paying everything. But isn't it awesome? There are two flat screen TVs. One in Allison's room and one in the living room. We have a room each. Each room has this sliding transparent glass window. All are curtains are colored maroon except for the living room. The curtain in the living room has brown color but not just ordinary plain brown color. All the types of brown are mixed in one cloth. The bathroom was really big. It had two showers, a big bathtub, toilet, of course, and two mirrors. Everything was colored white. From outside the hotel room door, I could hear the laughs of Kira Yukimura and Allison Argent. I think their talking about some guys they met in the mall. I could hear that familiar plastic sound. Shopping bag. Their dresses are probably in them right now. ( Dresses, bags, etc. ) I already took my earphones out. I don't need a new dress. I got one now hanging in my little wardrobe and my shoes and jewelries. I won't need make up. I don't spend my money on a new dress for independence day. I use it for the good.
