Halloween Special: Haunted mansion

The dexholders all sat down, the discussion had begun.

Blue: Ok, I called you all here because of one thing.

Gold: Is it because it's Halloween and we get to party?

Blue: That too, but the main reason is that stupid little mansion. The owner moved to Sinnoh, so they left their mansion here for some reason, and it has been collecting dust ever since. We need one of you brave dexholders to volunteer and help clean it up.

Emerald: Why do we even have to clean up some random guy's old mansion?

Blue: I don't really know, (Maybe because it would be quite romantic) anyways if anyone isn't volunteering me and Green are welcome to clean it alone.

Gold: Well, you know me, and Crystal also wanna go and clean it up, maybe even find a few scares.

Crystal: Nope, I'm not only going with Gold, I don't trust him. Silver would also like to join!

Blue: Well you know, I'm still going!

Red: Let's go too, Yellow!

Diamond: I think we should go too, lady!

Pearl: Well don't you two forget about me!

After that, all eyes were centered on Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby.

Ruby: Well I guess we get to party.

Blue: Nope! You'll be coming with us!

Emerald: Seriously!?!

This simple task had now turned into a dexholder bonding experience.

Blue: Some simple rules for cleaning are-

Emerald: Why are there RULES!?!

Blue: Emerald stop whining! There are rules to preserve the atmosphere of a generic haunted mansion. Rule one, all lights off, never turn them on. Rule two, everyone gets flashlights to see. Rule three, everyone stays in groups, everythings scarier when we're together! That's it, now go have fun!

Ruby: Hey Sapphire, wanna be in a group?

Sapphire: Yeah sure, but let's also take Emerald. We don't want him whining all over the place.

Emerald: I'm not WHINING! Look I'm just slightly concerned, there might be some Gahstly, or even Haunters in here.

Sapphire: Ha! Emerald's scared.

Ruby: Sapphire come on, be nicer. I'm also scared of ghosts ok?

Sapphire: Fine...

The Hoen trio's cleaning quest has begun! Emerald's frantically quivering in fear while Ruby holds Sapphire's hand for dear life.

Sapphire: Woah, Ruby.

Ruby: What is it?

Sapphire: Um...this is the first time we've held hands before, right?

Ruby: Oh, well, I guess so.

Ruby and Saphire's faces then went blazing red.

Emerald: Oh my god. If you guys are gonna start freaking out about holding hands then how flustered are you gonna be when one of you proposes?

Sapphire was in a blush, so red that Ruby's eyes looked dull.

Ruby: Hey, let's go lift some of those boxes!

Emerald: Meh.

Sapphire: Thanks for bailing me outa that one.

Ruby: Why are you so nervous when Emerald talks about us?

Sapphire: We haven't even confessed yet! Why wouldn't I be nervous?

Ruby: Ok then. *sigh* Hey Sapphire, I love you. There, I confesed

Ruby stood there with a smug face, knowing that Sapphire would be flustrered out of her mind, but then Ruby noticed something.

Ruby: Hey Sapphire, where's Emerald?

Sapphire just shrugged.

Ruby: Ugh! Don't tell me we're alone! Hey Sapphire you already know that I'm afraid of ghosts right?

Sapphire: Yeah.

Ruby: Well I'm getting pretty scared now.

Sapphire: Come on! There's nothing around us no noise, no eyes no nothing!

Ruby: That's what makes it scary! What if it tears my outfit?

Sapphire: Look I promise there's nothing, and if there is you can hide behind me.

Just then and there an ominous laugh echoed through the halls of the masion.

Sapphire: *Gulp* I'm sure I just imagined that.

Ruby: No you didn't.

Sapphire: Well then mysterious ghost, I don't care who you are. I'm going to protect Ruby no matter what!

???: Hahaha, Ruby's really afraid of ghosts!

???: Come on Gold you're such a jerk!

Gold: Then why do you keep hanging on to me all the time, crystal?

Crystal: It's because I'm just scared!

Gold: Yeah that's definitely it.

Silver: Hey Ruby, Sapphire. We found Emerald aimlessly wandering around, and we figured we'd bring him back to you.

Emerald: But I like it better with Crys!

Gold: We already went through all the effort, it's no use complaining.

Emerald: Fine.

Ruby: H-how much did you see?

Emerald: The part where you were quivering in fear.

Ruby: Is that it?

Emerald: Yes, why did you ask? Did you do something SPICY?

Sapphire: No, we just stacked boxes without you, totally normal.

Ruby: Work on your lying skills.

Sapphire: Says you, Mr. "Mirage Island".

Ruby: What's Mirage Island?

Sapphire: Seriously!?! We just confessed!

Ruby: What do you mean?

Emerald: You guys confessed?

Sapphire: NO!

As the Hoen trio argued the night away, their bonds have grown beyond anyone's imaginings. And in the distance...

Blue: Hahaha, this is definitely the best Halloween we've all had.

A/N It isn't even close to Halloween, that was a week ago. Nails and bats is taking longer than expected. I might not be updating in a while, but I'm not abandoning this fanfic. See you guys maybe at Christmas?
