Sorry, I'm a Swifite.

DAVID
I was pretty shocked when James called me to be my partner in the Three Legged Olympic Race. I mean, we were nothing like each other. He was very friendly, I was introverted. There was no way this would work out.
"Hey, partner", James said after school, "wanna practice?"
"Er, okay...", I responded. I didn't expect him to immediately get down on his knees.
"Um, what are you doing?"
"Tying our legs together, silly."
My eyes widened. Right then and there, he tied our legs together, at the ankles, knees, and thighs. After he was done, our legs were securely strapped to one another.
"You sure this is a good idea?", I asked. "Why wouldn't it be?", James replied.
The two of us readied ourselves. "Are you ready for it?", James asked, trying to quote Taylor Swift. "Baby, let the games begin.", I quoted back. (Apparently we were both Swifites.)
We took a step forward...
And immediately stumbled and fell. And for the next 30 minutes we continued to fall over every step we took. After that, we stopped
"The race is tomorrow. What do we do?"
"I'll think of something. See you tomorrow!"
