"Poor Binx." Michelle sighed as she looked at the sleeping cat. "Yeah, poor Binx. We owe him a lot." Max looked at Michelle. "Yeah. We really do." she nodded. "Look can...can we find some kinda way to help him?" Max asked with desperateness in his voice. "I guess there's the book? I mean, the witches used it to put the spell on him so there's gotta be some spell in there to take it off. Right?" Michelle asked as she sat down next to Max and grabbed the book. "I mean, I don't know...Binx told us not to open it." Max shrugged, "But that was when the witches were alive, they're dead now so they can't harm us." Michelle said. "Hm. Just be careful." Max told her. "Hold my hand." Michelle said and Max immediately took her hand in his as she opened the book.

"Well there's nothing weird so far." she said after opening it. They continued scanning through the pages until something interesting caught Michelle's eye. "Only a circle of salt can protect thy victims from thy power. Common knowledge." Michelle read and looked up at Max. As Michelle was turning a page, Binx jumped onto the book, closing it, and hissing at them both. "We were just trying to help you." Max said. "Well don't! Nothing good can come from inside this book. You got it?" Binx shouted. "Maybe we should go now." Max said as Binx crawled back up on the bed with Dani. "Yeah, you're right." Michelle nodded and stood up, following Max after placing the book down.

Michelle stood at the top of the stairs waiting for Max. "They're still not home. Weird." he shrugged. "Must be havin' a great time." he smiled at Michelle before they walked down the stairs. "I don't know Max, something's not right. I can feel it." Michelle shook her head. "I'd feel a lot safer walking home if we had some salt with us or something if we needed it." Michelle said to Max as he caught up with her. "Follow me." Max said as he led Michelle into the kitchen and climbed on the counter to reach the top shelf where he dug around until he found some salt. "Salt." he smiled and dropped it where Michelle caught it. He looked at Michelle and then the salt and back at Michelle. "What's it say?" he asked as he sat next to her.

"Well, it says to form a circle of salt to protect yourself from zombies, witches, and old boyfriends." Michelle smiled at Max. "Yeah and what about new boyfriends?" Max asked as he stared into Michelle's eyes with a small smile. Michelle looked at Max's lips and they both leaned closer to each other just about to kiss until they heard glass shatter upstairs and they both looked up. "Damn it. There goes my chance." Max thought to himself until he wasn't thinking about the kiss anymore but "Dani." he spoke and they both ran up the stairs. "Dani!" Max shouted "Dani?!" Michelle yelled. They both crashed into Max's room and looked around for Dani. "Max." Michelle gasped and grabbed his arm "The book is gone." she spoke. "What was I telling you, something's not right!" Michelle yelled as Max walked over to the bed.

"Dani wake up." he pulled the cover down to reveal Sarah. "Trick or treat." she yelled as Michelle looked at her and screamed. Then the closet door opened with Mary covering Dani's mouth and Winifred holding the book. "Looking for this?" she asked Max. "Or this?" Mary held up Binx in a bag. Max looked at the book and the eye suddenly moved causing him to yell in terror. He ran over to Michelle and grabbed her as Winifred opened the book and something from the book leapt out and threw Max into his drumset "MAX!" Michelle screamed as Sarah, Winifred, and Mary laughed. "Boy down." Sarah giggled. Michelle then took the salt, opened it, and made a circle around her and Max.

"Salt. Ha! What a clever little white witch. But it will not save thy friends." Winifred walked up to Michelle "Now...come sisters, the candle's magic is almost spent. Dawn approaches." Winifred spoke. Michelle froze as Dani screamed her and Max's names in fear. As Michelle watched the witches leave, Sarah looked at her and stuck her tongue out. An explosion suddenly erupted from the Dennison house and the sisters were flying through the air. Michelle, who had been knocked to the ground from the impact, had gotten up coughing and searchign for Dani. "DANI!" she shouted through the hole in the roof.

"Max." she gasped as she ran down the stairs and moved Max's drums out of the way as he groaned in pain. "Max, get up, come on, are you alright?" she asked as she helped Max sit up. "Where's Dani?" Max asked and Michelle sighed. "They have her." she said quietly and Max stood up. "What's that noise?" he asked as they heard singing from outside. "It's Sarah, luring the children." Michelle told him "Dani?" he began running "Dani!" Michelle ran after him. They looked outside and saw all of Salem's children walking the street in their Halloween costumes. "HEY! HEY YOU GUYS! DON'T LISTEN TO HER!" Max shouted but it was no use, they were already under her spell. "Max! Max! I've figured it out!" Michelle turned Max to face her. "What?" he asked.
