The Fairy Trap

Guinevere was driving through the forest while a camper drove ahead of them.

"Ugh. Why are we going to camp? My hair is going to get messy and sweaty in the heat." Keagan said in her signature camp outfit.

"That I would love to see." Abby smirked in her signature camp outfit.

"Ew. no." Rose said, wrinkling up her nose as she drove in her military van with the other fairies.

"The main reason why is we are gonna have so much fun! We're gonna roast marshmallows and eat marshmallows and sleep on marshmallow pillows!" Maddie squealed in her signature camp outfit.

"Yeah, probably not gonna do that." Rachel said, shaking her head in her signature camp outfit.

"Maybe you're not." Maddie grinned ear to ear as she put her head against the bag of marshmallows.

"Nutball Maddie strikes again." Abby chuckled.

"Why do you find her antics funny? I find them to be annoying." Rose asked Abby on her cellphone.

"Guess I am used to it because I am a nutball as well." Abby said.

"Yeah, I am used to it too because I have been living with Abby for 23 years and her antics are similar to Maddie's." Jessica said in her signature camp outfit.

"It's mostly because you knew each other from birth since you are related." Val said as she peeped from the camper while using a communicator to talk with them.

"That is true." Jessica nodded.

"I have no patience for nutballs and donkey heads." Rose shouted at the communicator. "When we get to camp, there are lots of rules to follow and the owner would expect me to come because he is working on a project."

The van stopped in front of a lodge and the True 8, who were wearing tops with a camp logo, shorts, skirts, knee-high socks, and sneakers, came out of Guinevere. Rose arrived with the fairies, wearing riding jackets, ties, collared shirts, pants, and riding boots. Rose and Queen Poppy's riding hats have tiara designs on them.

"What happened to your camp outfits?" Keagan asked.

"I'm wearing it, but I had Satin and Chenille make a few alterations." Rose answered.

"Fair point." Keagan sighed.

"You think I can do whatever I want when I become queen but no! There are many rules to follow and my dad would kill me if he sees me wearing the same outfits you wear, because my great great great grandfather calls it inferior." Rose said.

"What's wrong about wearing the same things over and over?" Rachel asked.

"Me and the snack pack, the ambassadors and the leaders must dress in the right fashion for camping, it has to be tailor made, use the right textiles for the season and it has to be according to the royal fashion rules, not dressing like overstuffed potato sacks and freeze out there!" Rose said with a huff.

"I like the tartan that Satin and Chenille made me, it's not so bad but don't come crying to us when you get frozen." Val snickered as she flaunted her new red, black, and white tartan riding jacket with a black collared shirt, jabot tie, tweed pants, and boots.

"Isn't camp just beautiful? I can't wait until we have our first nature walk." Rebecca said.

"I definitely wanna go on one of those." Anna said.

"You wanna see all the adorable woodland creatures, too?" Rebecca asked.

"Yeah! Specifically squirrels. More specifically, so I can chase 'em!" Anna smiled.
