I was just sorted into Slytherin. They already hate me, for some reason. I can't help if I'm unusual! Even my parents hate me! I only have my sister, and she hasn't joined Hogwarts yet. My life is miserable! I'm ugly, lonely, and hated! Why is everyone and everything so cruel to me? Okay, breathe in, Daph. I almost had a friend, Harry Potter. But he was sorted into Gryffindor, where Slytherins would never be welcomed. And Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley seemed nice too, however they were also sorted into Gryffindor. There was one girl that was sorted into Slytherin with me, and might actually want to be my friend, Amari Malfoy, Draco Malfoy's twin sister. However, Draco hates me, so Amari being my friend is extremely unlikely. "Hey, Greengrass, having fun with your imaginary friends? Oh wait, you don't even have any of those!" Ronald Weasley taunted. "Ronald Bilius Weasley! Be kind to her, she's never done anything to you!" Ginny Weasley yelled at him, apologizing to me for his behavior. Did someone just stand up for me? I hugged her tight, whispering "thank you." "For what?" She asked. "You're pretty, nice, and-" "Ginny, get away from her! She's a freak!" Weasley yelled. "I'm sorry, but I have to go..." Ginny said, and left. This is a cruel, cruel world that I live in. When I went to sleep that night, I thought about Ginny. Did she actually think I was pretty and nice? But her brother would never let her be friends with me. I hate him. I hate everyone! I hate everything! I can't have a good life, so I'll make sure neither can anyone else!
