19-Learning to play

Grayson scored the last goal making us all cheer as his team huddled and did their school cheer before they ran off to the change rooms. "They won" Cameron cheered proud of her little brothers while doing a little victory dance. I laughed and joined in the victory dance doing my own little jig. "I think I understand why you guys are best friends" Grayson spoke standing at the end of our row. "Wana join in?" Cameron asked making me breakout into laughter. I stopped dancing as Cameron went to find her mom. "You were great out there" I spoke walking over to Grayson. "I guess your good luck kiss worked" He spoke making me smile. "I may have been showing off a little bit" He said making me smile and grab his hand pulling him to the car where everyone was waiting.

"What took you so long?" Ethan asked from the front seat. "We were talking" I said sitting in the middle of the backseat beside Gray and Cam. "Watching Lacrosse really wears you out" I spoke leaning on Cams shoulder. "Yeah, who needs to play it? Watching it is enough" Cam spoke leaning on me as well. "It's much more fun to play" Grayson spoke. "I don't know how to play" I laughed being entirely serious. "What?" Cameron asked surprised. "Shh.. Im trying to sleep" Ethan spoke making me smile. "I never learned to play" I spoke looking at Grayson and Cameron. "Well then were going to teach you" Grayson said and I nodded. "Were here" Mrs. Dolan said shaking Ethan awake as we all climbed out of the car. Grayson ran over to the shed and pulled out another Lacrosse stick.

"Go get changed and then meet me in the backyard" Grayson spoke and I nodded following Cameron up to her room. "Can I borrow some clothes for Lacrosse?" I asked and she looked at me offended. "You should always know the answer to that" She spoke making me laugh. I walked over to the closet and pulled it open flipping through all of her clothes and finally deciding on a pair of shorts and a tank top. I slipped on a pair of Cameron's sneakers and put my hair up in a ponytail before running out to the backyard. Grayson was already warming up so I ran over and decided to join in. We did a few lunges, shoulder rolls and ankle rolls before beginning. "Have you ever played scoops?" Grayson asked and I nodded.

"Lacrosse is just like it but with bigger sticks, a team and a net" he spoke and I nodded following along with everything he had to say. You could just tell by the way he talked about it, how much he really loved playing Lacrosse. He was honestly so cute right now. "Stop it" He laughed and I looked at him confused. "Your biting your lip" He spoke and I bit my lip again trying to annoy him. "That's it" He yelled lunging at me, making me run away from him. "Stop" I yelled laughing as I avoided him. I didn't hear him running after me anymore and stopped but was tackled to the ground. I laughed and then noticed I was on top of Grayson. "Ow" He spoke with a smile on his face. "You did that to yourself" I spoke while he kissed my nose. I stood up and brushed off my pants before offering a hand to help Gray up.

"So do you wana play now?" He asked and I nodded eagerly. "Okay so try to shoot it into the net" He spoke and I nodded. He stepped back and I took a deep breath before throwing it right into the net. I jumped around excited and felt my phone go off in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw that Grayson had taken a video of me getting the shot. The caption he added was 'teaching her how to play lacrosse' and I smiled liking the video before putting in back in my pocket. "Guys, mom said to come in for supper" Cameron spoke and we nodded putting away the equipment. We headed back into the house before I realised that I had to be home soon. "Hey guys, I should go" I spoke and Cameron hugged me before going to help set up for supper.

"Thank you for coming to my game" Grayson spoke and I smiled. "Thank you for teaching me how to play" I spoke. He hugged me and then kissed my nose as I left the house crossing the fence back home. I walked through my front door with a smile and saw my mom, dad and sister setting up for supper. "Just in time" My mom smiled at me holding out forks for me to set up. "So what did you guys do at the Dolan's?" John my soon to be stepfather asked. "We went to the twins lacrosse game and then Grayson taught me to play" I spoke and he nodded shoving some spaghetti in his mouth as we all sat down to eat. "Is Gwayson your boyfwiend?" Sophie asked making me smile and nod.

"Are you bringing him to the wedding?" My mom asked and again I nodded. "That means he has to come to try on suits while you guys are picking out dresses" John spoke making mom whisper something in his ear. "What was that mom?" Avery spoke. "I told John to go easy on Grayson for Delilah" Mom said and I thanked her. When we were finished our food we put the dishes in the sink and all parted ways. Mom and John went to figure out some stuff for the wedding, Avery went to watch a movie with Sophie and I went up to my room to text Grayson about trying on suits. He really didn't mind much so I was happy. I climbed into bed and plugged in my phone falling asleep almost immediately.
