The Orgin Story Of Desti Octofair

Desti: I'm sure you guys know who I am at this point...... but you probably don't remember a side of me that's long gone...... and my tragic past along with who I was. What am I talking about? Well I'll you all everything about it

Takara: Welcome to the world Desti Octofair

James: She's so cute

Takara: Indeed

Desti (Narrating): As I was with my parents who were named Takara Octofair and James Octofair I was getting used to walking and it took me weeks for me to walk for the first time.

Takara: Come to us darling

Young Desti walked to her mother and hugged her

Desti (Narrating) My parents were.... well it couldn't get better for me at least and 5 years later my parents were teaching me how to use one of the weapon they use for Turf Wars and let me tell you that it wasn't easy as it took me 7 months especially with running and it was pretty difficult I did fall on the ground a few times which did caused me to cry due to the pain but my parents got me healed and calmed me down they then taught me something I would learn later on in my life

Takara: Hey losing only makes you better in life

Young Desti: *Sniff* Really? How does that work?

James: This world isn't all sunshine and rainbows you know it's a tough place and we both took hits and we lost a lot of turf wars but we were able to get better knowing our mistakes

Young Desti: I think I get it now

Desti (Narrating): And so I trained with my parents again and I got up every time I fell but there was one day when I fell in a body of water and I thought I was going to die but my mom saved me and I held onto her not letting go

Takara: Just try and calm down darling

Young Desti: I.... I can't.....

Desti (Narrating) I eventually calmed down from my near drowning experience and my parents taught me how to swim which I know what you are probably thinking but shouldn't we dissolve? Well not really it's just a game mechanic at least from what I heard and after that I rested after being exhausted. My mother kissed me on the cheek

Takara: Sleep well our little Desti

Once I felt my mother's kiss on my cheek and I smiled now things were fine..... but my first turf war came the next day and I was allowed to participate, but I've never been so afraid in my life mostly were bigger and tougher and I was able to make it to the final battle but.... I lost...... and the opponent team started laughing at me calling me a pathetic child and whole crowd looked and pointed laughing at me well everyone except my parents and I ran away crying and I never felt so embarrassed in my entire life and my parents comforted me and held me close.

Takara: Oh darling we're so sorry what happened to you

Young Desti: I.... am I really pathetic?

James: No you're not

Takara: Not in our eyes you're not I think it's better just to stay low from the public for now

Young Desti: Yeah.... I feel safe with you two here.....

Desti (Narrating): The next day they wanted to interview me and my parents due to the incident and I was really scared because I thought they would laugh at me again but they asked a lot of questions and the first one came from one of the Agents and her name was Agent 3

Agent 3: Desti how did you respond after yesterday's incident?

Young Desti: Well..... I felt embarrassed..... sad..... and guilty....

Takara: Yeah we never thought people would laugh at our daughter like that

Inkling Girl News Reporter: Desti do you know what the opponents looked like?

Young Desti: No.... I don't....

Brain: You leave us out of this fools!!!!

Young Desti: Oh no.....

James: Huh?

Desti (Narrating): I held onto my parents in fear and my parents looked at the opponents who were called The Destroyers and I felt fear take over me..... then the leader whose name was Brain placed his hand on me and my body was shaking in fear then my father slapped Brain in the arm and he felt pain

James: Get your hands off of my daughter

Brain: You're not the boss of me

Desti (Narrating): I then slapped Brain and called him the b word I covered my mouth in guilt and the crowd gasped I looked at my parents they felt sorry for me and I looked at Brin who had a sword and he was going to kill me with it but my mom grabbed the sword and threw it to the ground

Takara: Leave my daughter alone

Brain was impressed 

Brain: You pack a punch kid...

Young Desti: Stay away from me you monsters

Desti (Narrating): People then starting taking pictures at me and feeling so embarrassed I ran in despair I was planning to run away from home, but my parents stopped me and held me close I stayed away from the public for months and one day me and my parents were watching the news and they brought me up and my mother held my hand and when they showed the footage of people laughing at me I hid under my blanket in despair 

Takara: Oh

Desti (Narrating): I felt my mom grab me and she held me close

Takara: Darling.... I'm sorry this happened to you.....

James: Yeah we never wanted this to happen to you... we're such terrible parents are we?

Young Desti: No.... you're the best parents I could've asked for

5 years later

Desti: (Narrating) I was 15 at this time my father was sick and he had some sort of disease. I don't know about me and my mother hopes that he gets better but on the plus side I've met friends in the process when we formed a team called The Octoposses but.... I'm allowed to fully participate in turf wars now and we went into a championship and we were up against The Destroyers and they were stronger than before and I knew that they would remember me but since the embarrassment of me has died down in recent years I doubted it. Soon we made it to the final battle and after a long and fought fight: we lost, I was sad, heck me and my team were actually sad and I was crying in sadness and I went home and tried to tell my parents but what I got was something very tragic. My mother was gone.... dead on the ground I tried waking her up but nothing.... I went to see my father who was slowly dying due to his disease.

James: Desti? Is that you?

Teen Desti: Yes it's me dad

James: I wanted to help her but I couldn't.... someone came and attacked....  I'm sorry darling.... I really am.... I'll... tell.... your mother..... everything.... my.... daughter.

Teen Desti: Dad? Dad!!! No....

Desti: (Narrating) My father was gone I would never see him again and it was hard.... There was a funeral held for my mother and father but during it I saw an orange inkling holding a picture of her parents. She must've lost the to but she came to me

Teen Meggy: I've lost my parents too.... Both died in a horrible car crash....

Teen Desti: Oh.... I'm sorry about that.... What's your name?

Teen Meggy: My name is Meggy Spletzer. What's yours?

Teen Desti: My name is Desti Octofair

Desti: (Narrating): I've met her, a true friend after living in embarrassment for so long and we trained and had fun with each other. But years later she met someone with a red cap and blue overalls and she trained with him. I wanted to do the same but.... I feared that she forgot about me.... and to this day I fear that she did.... now after getting caught in an explosion on Anime Island I surely thought I was going to die.... but I woke up somewhere in a dark room. I felt.... scared and I'm with a pink inkling now I'm slowly recovering from my 6 year consciousness and my battle wounds and soon.... I'll see Meggy, Mario and everyone else again and I can finally be a friend to them once more.
