The Final Splatfest

After The Anime Showdown that occurred weeks ago Meggy was traumatized by her near death by Francis but one night Meggy was having a terrible nightmare.

*The nightmare*

Meggy: Mario!!!!

Mario was stabbed by a false Sephiroth and everyone looked in horror.

Francis: You idiots, did you forget about me and this pen?

Mario: Meggy....win.... Splatfest.... for me...

Mario fell to the ground as Francis started the ink Zuccer 2000 again and Meggy screamed in pain as all of her ink was extracted from her body and Meggy fell to the ground dead as the nightmare ended.

Meggy: AAAAHHHH!!!!!

Mario fell to the ground freaking out a little. He saw Meggy crying and shaking in fear she couldn't get a word out of her.

Mario: Did you have a nightmare Meggy?

Meggy nodded and placed her head on Mario's lap and Mario sang a lullaby to Meggy

Mario: ♩Meggy I know things have been hard for you but you've changed my life and you know I've changed yours and I won't let anyone hurt you I bet my life on that♩

Meggy smiled and went back to sleep. She started to toss and turn but Mario comforted her and rubbed her hair to calm her down.

Mario: I'm here for you Meggy

Mario slept next to Meggy and he looked at Meggy who was sleeping with a smile.

Mario: Sweet dreams my woomy girl.

The next day as Splatfest was on the horizon Meggy was thinking about Desti and how she was gone then Mario went to see what's up.

Mario: Hey Meggy I thought you would be training for you know what.

Meggy: Sorry Mario I was just thinking about Desti.....

Mario: I miss her too, heck we all do.

Meggy: She saved my life..... she threw me in that pod..... but she couldn't make it in time....

Meggy hugged Mario crying

Mario: Meggy I'm pretty sure that Desti wouldn't want to see you so sad and I try everything I can to make you happy again.

Meggy: Do you think Axol could've been like us?

Mario: I doubt it since we really didn't know him that well and since Francis killed him but Francis being gone is all that matters right?

Meggy: Yeah....

Meggy wipes her tears away and the news came on

Callie: The final splatfest is on the horizon in a week it's going to be crazy!

Marie: We hope to see you all there

The tv turned off and Meggy was excited and Mario smiled at Meggy's excitement.

Meggy: Are you ready Mario?

Mario: Well not now since we just woke up, but we'll do it later?

Meggy: I understand

10 minutes later Meggy came with your Splatershot and Mario got his and the two got ready

Mario: I'm ready

Luigi and Tari arrived and the four started to train
