EPILOGUE - ALDERAAN
CORONATION
Master Satele's voice boomed out across the courtyard, and thus to the galaxy as the cameras cast their focus to the steps of House Felwinter. 'Citizens of the galaxy!' Her voice chanted as Effrideet strode down the hallway of the castle, looking around at her allies as they stood around.
Telleo gave a sarcastic bow with a gleaming smile on her face as she tried to contain her joy.
Tau and Arn bowed in awe alongside Sirran and Nadia Grell.
Sergeant Campbell and the Dead Man's legion all saluted in honour as she went past them.
Cipher nine nodded at her as she looked her up and down while the Rat King bowed with respect.
Varas and his family all waved and smiled at her before bowing in majesty and gratitude.
Bragen, leaned against a pillar, winked and smiled at her alongside Risha who smiled at her and nodded.
Jorah and Vette bowed with respect and love as she walked past.
Skori bowed with nothing but admiration and appreciation for her sister.
Rusk saluted her as Doc and Elara gave her a thumbs up. T7 wobbled and shook in joy and C2 bowed.
Kira waited just by the door, planting a kiss on Effrideet's cheek as she went.
Effrideet stepped out in to the light.
'It is my honour as Grandmaster of the Jedi Order to coronate the New Queen of Alderaan. I present to you...'
Effrideet appeared on the balcony in a royal purple and white robe, aligned with gold with golden sabers hanging from her waist. She stood beside Master Satele at the front of the Castle Stairs.
'Queen Effrideet Felwinter, first of her name!' Satele announced as she gently placed the golden crown on Effrideet's head as both she and the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic bowed before her. Effrideet stood proud before the people gathered in the castle ground, which were ready to burst given the sheer volume of people who had gathered to see her coronation.
A chant broke out amongst the crowd.
'LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!' They chanted.
Effrideet breathed it all in as her mind wandered to those she had lost along the way. All of her friends who didn't make it.
The Empire and the Emperor had been vanquished thanks to their sacrifice though, and it was on Effrideet to honour them both in her rule and in her actions. She was aware that threats were always going to be present, and her next threat resided deep in the heart of Felwinter's peak.
But today was not the day.
Today, she would celebrate victory, at last.
She summoned the Archon's Might to her hand and raised it to the sky as it roared with flame. The crowed loved it as they continued to chant.
LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!
