She feels him put his hand around her shoulder, she freezes when feels a cold metal barrel against her head. Niki tries to stay as calm as possible to avoid her fate.
The barrel has been at her head for 5 minutes now, 5 minutes of fear of how her life could be taken from her any second. Schlatt starts to tell her "You're going to regret ever trying to stop me" Schlatt says with a deep voice. Suddenly there was a loud bang her ears filled with loud ringing, her vision starting to blur, she took a deep shaky breath knowing that this is the end. A body falls to the floor, Niki lays on the floor next to the body. She then realizes that she wasn't shot. She attempts to focus her vision and look at the person next to her
"Schlatt" she whispers, relieved she takes a deep breath trying to come to terms of what was happening. Another loud bang goes off and another this time she had not been lucky, she had been shot in the leg. And another body falls. Niki turns around to see what had happened and sees Fundy on the floor. Shot in the stomach he didn't have much time left he looked Niki in the eyes and said
"I'm sorry Niki, " Fundy says as the life slowly leaves his eyes.
Niki can't help but feel relieved that this was all over, she can hear the loud blare of the sirens and car doors open and slam close as people come to help her and get the two men. She looks up to see her sister,brother,and parents standing in shock of what they had witnessed. She gets up regardless of her leg and runs to her family, melting into a hug as they cry tears of joy. A police officer comes up to the family and looks Niki in the eyes and say
"Ma'am you have been one of many of the women we have been trying to find, there have been multiple cases of women being kidnapped and we had never found them. And you are one of our only survivors." Another officer grabs Niki shoulder and tells her
"You are a very strong women and brave women" the office said while looking her softly in the eyes.
"Thank you for everything sir." Lisa said to him as she turned around and walked to her car.
"lets go home Mom" Lisa said as she drove away from the house.
