Kaeya went straight for his desk when he arrived, dragging the corkboard over to him as he began to pin up all the pictures. He was looking over them, lost in thought when Albedo approached.
"I've pulled up surveillance videos from Old Mond while you were speaking with your contact." Albedo said, causing Kaeya to jump.
"A little warning next time. When did you get there?" Kaeya asked, turning to Albedo as he sat in his chair, pulling up the surveillance videos he had mentioned.
Albedo chose not to answer Kaeya, playing the surveillance videos instead. There wasn't much too then, but every video was a different location and as the videos played for Kaeya, Albedo was scribbling on a map, narrowing down their search field. When it was done, Albedo circled a location on the map, pinning it beside Kaeya's photos.
"The old headquarters, there." Albedo said, pointing to the circle. "Every area hit in the videos are all surrounding our old headquarters. It makes sense that Dvalin would choose somewhere familiar to him." Albedo explained.
"Dvalin isn't working alone either. It seems Durin is working with him." Kaeya said, passing Albedo the photo.
"That may cause problems." Albedo frowned, looking over the photo.
"Yeah. We need to deal with this quickly." Kaeya sighed. "I'll take a group to the old headquarters, conduct a raid, I'll need you to convince Jean to sign off on the order. Show her everything, including Durin's involvement and insist it's urgent. We can't afford to wait."
"Why me? Why can't you do it?" Albedo frowned. "I have work to get back to."
"Multitask. I've got to get a group together who won't question why we don't have an order yet. I'll be gone by the time she signs off." Kaeya explained as he grabbed his jacket.
"Fine, but you can't actually attack until you have the order." Albedo huffed. "And Kaeya?"
"Yeah?" Kaeya glanced back over at Albedo.
"Be careful dealing with Durin and Dvalin. You know how dangerous Durin is." Albedo insisted.
"I'll be careful, don't worry too much about me." Kaeya smirked as he left Albedo.
Albedo gathered everything off the corkboard, heading straight for Jean's office. He didn't bother knocking as he entered, startling Jean.
"Ah, Albedo. How can I help you." She smiled as she recovered from the fright. It wasn't the first time and it wouldn't be the last time Albedo did that.
"I need you to sign off on an order for us." Albedo moved over to the desk, dumping everything on top of her work. "Kaeya and I have managed to find that it is in fact Storm Terror working out of Old Mond. They have hit a lot of the areas surrounding our old headquarters. On top of that it seems Dvalin isn't working alone. Durin is helping him." Albedo explained, showing Jean the photo of the two.
"You're certain of this?" Jean asked as she looked over the photo for any sign of tampering.
"Kaeya is. He spoke to his contact this morning and confirmed it. With him involved and all the huts they've had recently we believe it's best to act quickly to take them out." Albedo explained.
Jean sighed, setting her head in her hand. "Kaeya is already gone, isn't he?" Jean asked.
"He still needed to put his team together, but he should be leaving any moment." Albedo explained.
"Fine, but Kaeya really needs to stop doing this." Jean sighed, pulling paperwork out of her desk and scribbling on them.
"I tried to convince him but he is set. He is hardly a man that changes his ways." Albedo explained.
