—-—-Chapter 15———-
It was dark, no one was around. The loud crickets were the only things keeping me aware. Small lights began to fill up this small dark place but only to show a distressed Jayden who was crying over his mother's grave stone, and I just stood there watching him as he slowly suffered. His head turned me as his low voice spoke-
"You should be the one dead, not mum."
My eyes shot open as a white ceiling took over my vison. I wanted to move but a strong pain had me down and kept down. It was loud sounds of beeping that made me wonder where I lay. Slowly my eyes roamed the room and slowly I could see I was in a real hospital. A strong wave of fear washed over me as I remembered how much I hated hospitals. Due to the pain keeping me down, my only choice was to lay and wait for someone to come in and check on me.
Time was ticking slowly and it had me playing around with my fingers as I could hear the seconds on the analogue clock tick.
Someone come in. Anyone come in.
"She should be awake now." A girl's voice was heard outside the door.
I forced my body up starring at the door waiting for someone to come in. A young blonde walked in with Jason following behind. He looked really tired, the dark purple bags under his eyes were clear, his posture finished off the look of struggle to stay awake.
"Good morning lazy." His voice was scratchy and hardly audible.
The only thing I managed to do was greet him with a confused smile.
"Where's Smith?" I questioned.
Jason's tired expression was changed after I spoke those two words into such a cute smile.
"You are really slow." His chuckle travelled in the small room, I couldn't help but let the grin wanting to show, show.
The young blonde nurse walked out quietly closing the door behind her leaving me with Jason.
"You feeling better?" He asked moving closer to me.
"Of course." I grinned.
"But, you haven't answered my question." I cocked an eyebrow.
"Where Smith is?" He repeated.
I nodded.
"Do you want the whole story or just where he is?" He leaned back on the chair.
I sat up crossing my legs curious.
"Story?" I tilted my head to the side.
"Yes." He nodded.
Hesitating first I nodded.
—-Jayden's POV——
I sat facing him, arms crossed and my eyes locked with his. Him the same. We both fixed out posture as soon as Master Sargent Stephan walked in with his hands behind his back.
"You two have some explaining to do." He sat down on the chair to my right.
"He killed my sister." Zanzes stood up slamming his hands on the table.
I gritted my teeth, he will never let me live it down will he?
"Yes I know that." Sargent spoke in a calm tone.
"So? What will you do?" Zanzes asked fury lighting up his orbs.
"Nothing." Sargent shrugged.
"NOTHING!" He yelled.
