-----Chapter 9-----------Hi Kawthar----------------------Missing--------------------------------------
"Not you again." I sighed.
"I don't have to explain myself." He answered back.
"No obviously you don't."
I pulled my hands out of my pockets and tilted my head.
"So, why have other people do your dirty work?" I asked.
"Reasons." He shrugged.
"And why Daniel? Because he knew Jayden well?"
"Yes, that's right Atrix." He gave me thumbs up.
"What did you say to him to make him do what you want?" I asked.
"Simple. My wants or his family." He shrugged.
"You threatened him?" I said clenching my teeth.
"You're heartless." I added.
"Not as much as your brother." He said annoyed.
"And what do you mean by that?" I relaxed my jaw.
"Nothing in particular."
He started moving towards me and I decided I should back away but when I did take a step someone stopped me. I felt a hard body pressed against mine and he wrapped his muscular arm around my neck and held a gun to my head.
"He won't hesitate to kill." Zanzes said smirking.
"You want me alive, don't you?" I said.
"Correct again. But if you don't corporate I will kill you."
"Even if I do go with you, I would end up dying anyway. Right?"
"Atrix, well done." He clapped his hands.
"Who knew you could be this smart." He added.
I shifted my weight to my right leg and lifted my left hitting the guy behind me in the shin. He released me from his grip as I turned and kicked him down as he fell I grabbed the gun and faced Zanzes again pointing the gun at him.
"Impressive." He said.
"But shoot me if you can." He spread out his arms.
No one would do that, wait does this gun even have any bullets.
I pulled out the bullet case and nothing, it's like they knew I was going to take it away from them, I give them credit for that.
"Guess I underestimated you." I sighed as I threw the gun over my shoulder.
"You what?" He said wide eyed.
"But never mind that." He started walking closer again. By the time he was right in my face he grabbed me by the collar.
"Now Atrix, the easy way or the hard way?" He asked yet again.
"You know you won't get your way that easily." I sighed.
He pushed me back and I caught myself, I looked back up at him and he had a gun facing me.
"Force?" I said.
"It's always the answer with you." He growled.
"Are you already going to kill me?" I tilted my head.
"No." And with that he pulled the trigger, the bullet pierced trough my left shoulder. I winced in pain as I placed my right arm over where the bullet was shot.
"Do you understand now? I won't hesitate to kill you. He might of but not me."
He then came closer to me and pushed the gun on my right side. He had his head on the right side of mine.
