You and I

You and I are just alike

Our voices sound the same

We both have the hearts that beat like a star

One in all we are

I was lost in a dark world

But yet, you lifted me up

All alone I was and then you came

To help me up onto my feet

Look at who we both are

We both came from a hell

Yet, you were the one with the smile

And I the one alone with the frowns

All alone you were in this dark world

But yet, you walk on your feet

I can see who you are

Someone that's suffering

You lie to yourself and the world

Just to not show that, you're at pain!

You are not going to be

All alone in this dark world

I will stand by you with my hand held out

Just for you to take
