Oh Gallagher-Carl Gallagher (Book one)

Present

Carl and I are at the park for a little bit longer, "hey we should probably head back soon" Carl says looking at the time " yea we have to give those kids their Skateboards back too," I say looking down at the purple and blue board in my hand

We head out of the park and give the kids their skateboards back. "Want me to ask Fiona if I can stay at your place tonight" Carl says with a smile on his face "yea sure" I say smiling back.

He walks into the house and I sit on the step, and I see Lip come back home "hey stranger" I say smiling at lip, "hey Mya" he says obviously mad, "what's wrong?" I say ima worried tone "oh it's nothing just girls suck sometimes, you know" Lip says with a forced smile on his face, "well I'm sure what ever it is will get better" I say trying to cheer him up.

"But what's going on with you and Carl" lip says pulling out a cigarette. "I'm not really sure, he told me he liked me at the park today but nothing else happened" I say with a sad look on my face. "Well that's a start, just take it slow, or don't because I know what happened with the whole you being pregnant. But I'm sure it will all work out in the end, Carl seems to really like you, and he normally doesn't commit to relationships, so hold onto him." Lips says with a smile on his face,

Just then Carl walks out and has a grin on his face. "She said I could" Carl says and puts his arm around your shoulder. "See ya later lip" I say and smile

We walk over to Kev and V's and the house smells very strongly of weed, "now this is what I'm talking about" Carl says and playfully hits my arm, I can't help but chuckle. "Kev, V I'm home, And Carl is going to stay the night" I say yelling out ti the house hoping one of them is going to hear me.

"Ok, just use a condom this time" I hear kev say through coughs, and laughing at his own joke clearly high. "Will do" I say as me and Carl run up to my room.

We get up there and I pull out a blunt from my closet, "See this is why I love hanging out with you" carl says with a smile "what for my weed," I say laughing, "yea kind of" he says taking the blunt from me "joking, I'm joking" he says taking a long hit

I pull out my phone and look at the date  "oh shit my birthday is next week" I say surprised "what the fuck, why did you tell me" he says in a panic,

"Carl is ok, it's not that big of a deal" I say laughing and taking a hit, "um, yes it is. I gotta figure out what to get you for your birthday" Carl says, "Nothing, that's your answer, don't get me anything" I say with a warm smile on my face

"But I want to, and I am and you can stop me," carl says sticking his tongue out.

"I know a early present I could get you" he says with a smirk, "Oh yea, what is that," I say smirking back

"Will you be my girlfriend" he says with a smile on his face.

"Is that even a question, yes!" I say with a huge smile and give him a long passionate kiss.

"Want to watch a movie" I say and scoot closer to Carl "yea, sure" he says and puts his arms around my shoulder.

I go onto Netflix and put on "The book of Henry"
About halfway through the movie Carl falls asleep on my shoulder.

God, I'm glad this kid finally put a label on it.
