Love Does Not Judge, A Redawna Story

AN: Just continuing more of where we left off! Enjoy guys! Also sorry if this is a short chapter, this is mostly just to set up the events for the next one!

It was a quiet morning at the INN. Everyone had eaten food as per usual, but Shawna felt that she wanted to see Red Fiend again, and to show him somewhere outside of New Lumos. Though the city was bright, and beautiful in its own right, she wanted to give him something different, as he had never been outside the city, as he had just left the tower for the first time as of yesterday.

She decided to have a girls day with Tohru for a bit, and invited her to a cafe. Tohru always had good plans, and she felt that she could ask Tohru for some advice on what to do.

"Ahhhhh, may I have a sipsky Shawna?" Tohru asks.

"Sure." Shawna agrees, giving Tohru her latte.

"Ah, refreshing. There's no better way to start the day!" Tohru cheers.

"Look, Tohru? I was thinking of asking you for some advice?" Shawna asks.

"Sure! What do you need?" Tohru asks.

"Well, I was thinking of asking Red Fiend if he wanted to come explore a region of Miitopia with me, as he has never left New Lumos. Though its so diverse, and beautiful, and I can't decide which one to pick." Shawna says.

"Well, Greenhorne is a peaceful place, it's bright and simple. Neksdor is filled with many mysteries and ancient relics. Realm of The Fey is a beautiful wonderland with many flowers, animals, and mystical elements. Karkaton is definitely a hellscape, and it might be a scary first choice. Traveller's Hub, there isn't much. Powdered Peaks is a chill, silent area of sanctuary. Might be a good place to refresh your mind. Peculia is very odd, and if you're looking for a laugh, you should go there. Nimbus is fluffy and upbeat, and it could be fun. And the Skyscraper and the other world are filled with much astronomy. So yeah, if you look for the good parts in everything, you could enjoy anywhere. But it's up to you to bring him where you'd want to bring him, and only if he agrees with it. As, boundaries. Anyway, if you could take him anywhere right now, where would you take him?" Tohru asks.

Shawna takes a moment to take in all that information. Tohru was very energetic and optimistic, and she provided a viewpoint Shawna didn't see out of. And finally becomes confident with a choice.

"I think I'll choose to go to the Realm of The Fey. I love the music, the wonders, and maybe we can have lunch with the fab fairies!" Shawna cheers.

"That's a good idea! I'm sure they'd love a visit from you, and I'm sure he'd love a change of scenery as well." Tohru says, applauding her choice.

"Thank you so much Tohru. You really helped me see the good in all the places. Well, maybe not so much on Karkaton. I don't really have too many good memories of that place other than saving you guys from the Dark Lord's Clutches. And that was when Great Sage Olivia was possessed, so it was very chaotic." Shawna admits.

"Yeah, Karkaton was a roller coaster. And to think we braved through it all those weeks ago. Time really flies. But now, we should head back." Tohru smiles.

"Yeah, let's go." Shawna says, paying the barista, as the two leave.

But as they head back, an enemy pops up, and they are thrusted into battle with a Glamarous Pharoah.

"UGH ARE YOU KIDDING ME NOT ANOTHER FUCKROAH!!!" Shawna rages.

"And at the worst time too." Tohru sighs.

"But there's just one. We can certainly deal with it." Shawna laughs.

"Yep. Speaking of which." Tohru laughs.

Tohru activates righteous anger, which instantly kills the pharoah.

"YAAAASSSSSS YOU DID IT!" Shawna cheers.

"Yeah!" Tohru smiles, and they receive Dynatastic Soup as their reward for winning the battle.

Shawna smiles, and heads out of the INN. It had been a few hours since her morning coffee with Tohru, and she was ready to ask Red Fiend out. She approached the Tower of Despair, and looks up at its imposing figure.

"This is it." Shawna admits.

Though she was anxious the first time she arrived here, she felt even more nervous now, as she didn't know if Red Fiend would be comfortable leaving. Though she would completely understand if he wasn't ready, she really wanted to take him out to the Realm of Fey. She entered the tower, and was ready to see what Red Fiend had to say at the matter.
