For Forth, days had passed in a daze ever since that night in the bar where out of nowhere, Beam confessed to him. And then just walked away.

It had been two weeks since then. Two long, tiring weeks in which all he did was think of Beam whereas the culprit for his sleepless nights was nowhere to be seen. And as the time passed on, his suspicion of it all being one big prank to mess with him kept getting stronger.

Why would Beam say that to him, only to then say good bye and walk away? Why?

If he was confessing then shouldn't he go ahead and try to put some effort? To woo him, may be? But Beam hasn't done any of that till now! He didn't even appear in front of him again. He didn't even try to go further with his confession. So, was it all a prank?

But that look in Beam's eye, the slight moment of letting his guard down, of taking off the mask of cold indifference and showing the moment of worry, insecurity and fear that Forth, since the past year was all too aware of.

He did confess his feelings to Forth and no matter how hard Forth tried to tell himself the med gang was just pulling his leg, messing with him, deep down, he couldn't deny it because he knew that look. He was all to familiar with that look.

Then... if it was true, why would Beam just walk away and never look for him?

Because he didn't want to pursue anything with him? He did say he confessed for Kit. So was that it? He just randomly confessed so Kit would do the same?

And if he really did like Forth, then, since when?

Damn it! That fucker has me losing my mind more than anything ever did! he screamed in his head.

Forth sighed as he pulled his helmet off and got off the bike to enter the convenience store. Come to think of it, ever since that night, all he'd done is think of Beam, wait and anticipate for the guy to go further, to pursue him or something, but always left thinking of possibilities as after that night, Beam never appeared in front of him. And the frustration he felt made him go insane, so much so that he even tried to hook up after over a year just to get off some steam. But as soon as he held the girl hitting on him in his arms and caressed her cheek, he'd instantly come up with a weird thought, a thought of how Beam's skin seemed smoother than the girl herself or how fair skinned the guy really was. And then he could not even do that with her!

Fuck it! Beam had ruined him!

He picked up almost a dozen cigarette packets and turned to pay, only to stop dead in his track, frozen, eyes glued to the figure standing in front of the counter. Those shiny black hair, that stance, that perfectly slim waist and those shoulders, it could only be one person!

Beam.

And when Beam turned around, he stilled in his place, eyes locked with the man he was so helplessly in love with.

After the initial shock, his eyes turned sad, only briefly before turning blank, composing himself just as quickly. They both stood there, silent, staring at each other with Forth staring hungrily at Beam's face. He did not know how to act, he did not know what to say or what to do, how to approach Beam while Beam on the other hand, the one who had confessed, the one who should feel awkward and nervous the way Forth did, just simply walked up to him, his stance firm and confident and his eyes calm as he stopped in front of Forth while Forth's entire being on the other hand was was shaken.

"Jathurapoom" Beam said simply, flashing his bright, bedazzling smile and Forth was awestruck for a moment. He blinked. Then he shook his head, putting his spare hand in his jeans pocket and staring down into Beam's eyes.

"Baramee" he replied, trying his best to contain his nervousness. What the fuck, Forth? He's the one making random confessions out there, not you!
