You and joey had been dating for a few months now but it was a secret because of your older brother mick who was extremely protective and would probably rip joey to pieces
You were stuck sneaking around like two teenagers and it really fucking annoyed you you just didn't want to sneak around pretending you and joey were platonic bffs who were really close
Joey on the other hand couldn't give less of a shit it only mattered to him if you were okay (alive and well) and that you two were together

You were on tour with the guys they had just played a show and you were walking back to the bus from the venue you and joey walking further to the back holding hands when suddenly mick pipes up from behind you "WTF WHY ARE YOU TOO HOLDING HANDS" you were stuck to your spot not saying anything barely breathing then all of a sudden corey sounding like Jesus Christ himself told mick to "shut it I know that you wanna protect your sibling but your taking it to far" you could see mick was pissed you grabbed joeys hand and bolted for the bus you dragged him on and into the bathroom you guys could hear mick shouting
after it died down a bit there was a knock at the bathroom door and a voice that could barely be heard asking for you to come out and talk you decided you may as well "thanks for coming to talk I just wanted to say that I don't care you and joey are dating" he paused for a second turning to joey "all though if you do anything to hurt them I will rip you to shreds do I make myself clear" joey didn't say anything he just nodded "I need words joey" " I won't do anything to hurt y/n in anyway I love them with ever cell in my body" you stood there smiling at joey "good good thank you for talking with me I will see you later"
You and joey just climbed into joeys bunk and immediately fell asleep
