Chenle had spent the majority of the day sat in the Dream dorm, sat on his bed. He sighed deeply, knowing that this was something he had to do.

His request had finally been granted, and Chenle wasn't going to let it slip away. He checked his watch: 16:33. The dorm was deserted due to everyone's schedules, so he was on his own. No one would be back for a few more hours.

Chenle stood up from his bed, a letter in his hands. He knew that Jisung would probably return to the U dorm today, since their schedule would probably take them into the early hours.

He probably wouldn't see it till tomorrow, at least. Chenle smiled sadly to himself, placing the letter on Kun's pillow. He turned and left the room not wanting to linger anymore, it was already making his chest hurt.

Chenle grabbed his gym bag (which happened to be his biggest bag) before walking out of the WayV dorm. He'd packed a few necessary clothes, and most of his precious stuff - like his laptop, can't leave that.

Chenle had requested leave from SM. He was going back home. Being with NCT was racking his mind with so much guilt, he couldn't take it anymore. He was hoping that his family would help cure him. Or at least take his mind of things.

The elevator ride seemed to take forever, making Chenle feel more and more reluctant to go. He didn't want to hold the others back anymore, and this trip home was the only way he could think of to help him out. Of course there was the whole telling Jisung everything he was hiding stuff, but Chenle wasn't mentally ready for that yet.

The sound of his phone buzzing caught his attention, pulling him back to reality. Reading the message Chenle smiled a little. His mother was outside in the car, since she'd personally come to pick him up. Chenle had insisted on taking the cab, but his mother had already decided and there was no arguing with her.

Thankfully his family didn't live that far away from Seoul, so it wasn't an amazingly long drive. He planned to stay there for some time before totally moving to Shanghai. Chenle walked out of the dorm building, seeing his mother's Honda straight away. This was the best thing to do.

Jisung was impatiently shifting in his seat. NCT U were currently in the minivan on the way back to the dorms, since they'd finally finished their schedules for the day.

The maknae of the unit had made sure to sit closest to the door, even his hand was on the handle ready to escape. Johnny was still giving the younger a dodgy look, mostly the back of his head since he was in the back.

Ten's head was on Yuta's shoulder, soft snores leaving him. At the other side of Yuta, Taeil was sleeping against the window. Lucas and Renjun were snoozing against each other too, even Donghyuck in the passenger seat was out cold.

It was currently 2:02am. Yuta always stayed awake, wanting to watch over the other members. Jisung was usually asleep too, but his twitchy state kept him wide awake. Yuta was beyond the word worried when it came to Jisung. The younger was a mess.

"Jisung?" Yuta whispered, making sure not to disturb the others. It was easy to hear in the silence of the van. Jisung turned his head to the side, glancing as much as he could back at Yuta.

The elder sighed, "have a sleep. It'll be a while till we get back." It wasn't a lie, at least another hour of driving was probably ahead of them. Yuta at least wanted Jisung to rest, especially since he probably didn't sleep much last night.

Jisung just nodded before directing his head forwards again. He looked down at himself, a small smile coming to his face. He was still wearing the hoodie, the one that he had slept in - Yuta was rushing him out so fast in the morning he didn't even change his joggers.

Jisung wrapped his arms around himself, sinking into the cosy feeling of the hoodie. He wanted to see Chenle so badly, he needed to talk to him. He was so afraid that Chenle was going to leave SM, leave NCT, leave him... Jisung couldn't image a world without him in it, and the sheer thought was scaring him shitless.

Closing his eyes, Jisung's mind was bringing up memories of him and Chenle together. He missed those days, when in reality most of them weren't even a year ago. No matter what, Jisung needed Chenle to stay. The heartbreak of him leaving would be like when Hansol went his own way, but for Jisung if it was Chenle he knew he would never recover.

The drive seemed to stretch on. Jisung was glad that Yuta probably thought he was asleep, since he hadn't said anything. Jisung turned his head towards Renjun beside him. His head was on Lucas's shoulder, while the elder's head was on Renjun's.

Jisung couldn't help the spike of jealousy that suddenly shot through him. He wanted Chenle beside him. He wanted to sleep on the elder like that and cuddle up close to him. He needed to see him, even if it was for a few minutes. A few seconds would even cut it.

As soon as they arrived Jisung was straight out of the van. He ran towards the dorm, making a B-line for the lift. Yuta was left to wake up the other members in the van, but he'd let it go. He wasn't sure why Jisung was in such a hurry, but he could make a plausible guess.

Jisung leaned against the elevator mirror as it took him up to their floor. His hyungs would probably complain about how he didn't wait for them, but he needed to get back. Even if it was only a few seconds earlier, it would make all the difference.

The lift pinged, the doors opening. Jisung ran towards the dream dorm, opening the door code. He ran straight through the dark dorm, knowing exactly where his and Chenle's room was. He slammed through the door, only to be met with the empty room.

Jisung sighed to himself, before running straight back out of the dorm again. He made his way towards the WayV dorm. Chenle had to be in there, it was just past 3am, where else would he go?

Jisung opened the door to WayV's dorm, not even thinking about being quiet. He ran through the silent and dark dorm, going straight into Kun's room. He was breathing heavily as he turned the light on, illuminating the room. He didn't care if it would disturb Kun's sleep...

Jisung didn't understand. The room was empty. Chenle wasn't there either. Did he perhaps swap with another member?

Jisung walked further into the room, only to see something on the pillow. There was a folded piece of paper with his name written on it. Jisung slowly picked up the paper, unfolding it carefully.

Sungie, I'm sorry.

I feel as though I am running away from you, but I couldn't think of a better way to do this. I have left the dorm to return home to my family. I shouldn't be gone too long.

I don't like this guilt that I feel whenever I see any of you guys, but especially you Sungie. I'm sorry that I let you down. I'm sorry that I can't overcome this. I will return when I am better. Make sure that you look after Dream and give your NCT U promotions your all. I'll see you soon, Ji. Goodbye.

Lele.
