A MELODY IN THE WIND

A long time ago, venti was sitting on a rock, swinging his feet while playing the flute at dihua marsh. Venti is the god of freedom, Barbatos. one of the archons, The anemo archon, and the one who watches over his nation to protect it and his people. A boy with teal hair came to where he was, blood dripping from his face and body to the ground, fully injured from the war with his friends, the yakshas. He's the only yaksha left. He survived when he met this boy named venti through music and the teal hair boy's name is xiao. The adepti, Anemo yaksha, and who's always with his friends but then the darkness or.. the karma came to them, conquered them, and made them suffer and kill each other but xiao managed to escape from the karmatic depth through venti. Xiao is very serious and never love communicating with other people until he met venti, the only venti he trusts. Venti noticed xiao from the back, enjoying the music. the music stopped, and xiao noticed it. He opened his eyes and saw venti right in front of him. Venti introduced himself, and xiao did the same but coldly. Both of them interacted and became friends. Venti plays music for him while Xiao is always there for venti even though venti is not in trouble. They're getting closer and closer and became best friends. they travel together in every teyvat and watch the sunset and sunrise always, they sometimes go to dragonspine for the snow.

Venti: "Let's wait 'till the snow gets heavier and have a snowball fight!"

Xiao: "Mmm... Once the snow is thick enough, we can eat it."

Venti: "What- no, xiao! you can't eat the snow!"

xiao: "Too late."

Xiao looked away from venti and ate the snow from his hand.

Venti: "xiaaaaaaooooooo! that's not good! that snow you got in your hand is from the ground! yuck!"

Xiao giggled because of venti's reaction.

Venti appreciates xiao's existence because xiao was the only one who made him feel that someone still cares about him and xiao appreciates venti's existence because he was the one who saved him, his light, and who made him feel comfortable. A few months later. Xiao has already fallen in love with venti but doesn't confess it yet because he's too nervous. Venti had feelings for xiao since they were very close friends but he was waiting for xiao to do the first move.

Xiao: "Venti..."

Venti: "Yes xiao?"

Xiao: "I... forget it."

Venti: "Come on, xiaooo!! tell me! is there something wrong?"

Xiao: "No, not at all. let's eat our food now before it gets cold."

Venti: "Okay?"

Watching over Monstadt, and performing for the people. xiao teleported to Monstadt, looking for him. he entered the city gates of monstadt and it was crowdy.. which means, xiao was annoyed. he searched for venti inside the city of freedom/monstadt but venti wasn't there. he's getting worried and decided to go to starsnatch cliff, where venti's favorite spot. venti was there sitting on the ground, admiring the sky as the sun goes down slowly.

Venti: "You're late."

Xiao: "My apologies lord barbatos. I thought you were in the city with those people, performing for them."

Venti: "Oh~? pfft... it's okay! you're here now, let's watch the sunset, shall we?"

Xiao: "Yes."
