Chapter 1:THIS WORLD

In this world if you don't have money and power, you'll need intelligence to survive.And I am very thankful that god gifted me with this unbelievable intelligence that's why I'm here at the University of my dream with a full scholarship.Well you see...we don't have money we cannot afford the tuition fee here,so yeah thankfully I passed the exam.And today is my first day of school.

I'm very nervous as I walked on the corridor.All I see is students wearing expensive clothes,and they're looking at me and some are whispering making me feel like I don't belong here.But I don't care as long as they don't harm or hurt me because I will not tolerate violence and bullying again.

As I search for my room I looked at my watch and "holy mother of cow 5 minutes nalang mag riring na ang bell kailangan ko ng bilisan kung hindi malalate nako,ang laki laki naman kasi ng university na ito nakakalito ang pasikot sikot"isip ko as I quickened my pace.

Mabuti nalang at nahanap ko na ang room ko bago pa mag ring ang bell at wala parin sa room ang aking teacher.I sighed in relief.Ayoko namang malate in my first day noh.

Minutes passed and My English teacher arrived.

"Okay good morning class,are you ready for your first day of school?" My teacher said as a greeting.

"Yes Sir"we all said as a response.

My teacher introduced himself and told everyone to introduce ourselves in front."Oh god why?"I'm so nervous as heck rn.This is what I hate in first day of class introduce yourself. I stood up and walked to the front because it's my turn.

"Hi everyone I'm Klea Seire Mendoza,you can call me Lea for short it's nice to meet you all and I hope we can get along." I slightly smile and walked towards my desk."Wow that went well huh. I guess my first day in this school will be alright...I hope so..."I thought as I sat down and wait for other students to finish.

Mr. Mariano was about to start the discussion but then we heard the door open, revealing a handsome and tall boy,chasing his breath and it was obvious that he ran just to get here.

"Oh hi Mr.First day of school and you're late?care to explain why?"The teacher said looking sharply at the boy.

"There's a huge traffic po Sir and the vehicles barely move I believe there's an accident that cause the traffic that's why I ran just to get here on time but it was too late I'm really really sorry sir it will never happen again, I promise."he said as he breath heavily.

"Okay okay I understand and since it's the first day of school I'll let it pass for now but if it happens again next time you know what will happen oky?so your name is?"

"Theodore Kiel Galanza nice to meet you all" he said and he scan the room.

"Okay you can seat beside...Lea.Lea please raise your hand"

I'm a little surprise but I raised my hand and when he saw me he walked towards my direction.

"Hi are you a new student here also?"he said as he sat down besides me.

"Ah yeah..." I answered shortly because our teacher already started with his discussion.

"May I know your name?"he smiled at me "woah his dimples are deep."

"I'm Klea but you can call me Lea"I smiled back at him. And I start to take notes of the discussion.

"What a beautiful name it suits you well HAHA I'm Theodore you can call me Theo since you're my friend now"

I looked at him in shock just to see his smile and oh boy...that smile melts me.

When he saw my face he pouted"what's with the reaction?you don't want to be my friend?"
