Chapter 7:WEEKENDS

Today is saturday and during weekends I have work,a part time job at a cafe about a blocks away from our house.

"yes sir,whats your order?"I am a cashier and we sell coffee and cakes and donuts etc.

"can I have 1 Frappuccino and 1 caramel macchiato,and 1 classic chocolate cake and new york cheesecake.Thats all thankyou."

"thankyou sir,next"

after my shift at the cafe I still have a work.mag babysitting ako I called the parents number to ask their address and then I go to the address.

I rang the doorbell and waited for the soor to open.

"hello are you the nanny?"A girl I believe the mother opened the door while smiling inviting me to come in.

"ahh yes..."

The house was not so big but still elegant and super beautiful its simple but neat.

"follow me please."she said as I follow her.

"here is our daughter's room and....here is our son's room."

"uh...how old are they?"

"my daughter is 7 years old and my son is 17 years old."

"ahh okay thanks."

"my husband already cooked a dinner so just call them to come down okay?"

"okay"

"we'll get going now...if you need anything just call us okay...and my son don't bother him if he don't wanna eat just let him be okay?"I nodded and they left the house well its just 6 pm so I go to the sofa while chatting Theo.

"where are you rn?"

"I'm at your house but your mom said you aren't home?"

"I'm at job rn."

"job?"Napapikit ako at di na muna nireplyan si Theo para tawagin yung mga bata para kumain its already 7 pm.

Pumunta ako sa kwarto nung batang babae at kumatok.

"hey...dinner's ready..."

"okay I'll get down in a munite..."she said and I walked towards the boys room.

I knocked and I was about to say something when he opened the door.

"what?"

I was shocked when I saw him without a shirt.

"L-Lea?!"

I looked at him."wait...Klaizer?"

"what are you doing here?"He said while his eyes are wide open and I laughed at his face.

"w-what's so funny?!are you Shantall's new babysitter?"

"uhuhh correcttt diing diing diing"I said as I imitate the sound of a bell.

"and please put a shirt on..."I said and he looked down at his body and I think he forgot that he's not wearing any top.

He slammed his door and I laughed while going to the dinning room para ihanda ang lamesa.

after a minute he got down and behind him is Shantall and we eat quietly.

"I thought Shantall's babysitter was a granny I never thought it was you or someone my age HAHAHA."

I laughed at him and said.

"what would you prefer then?"he looked at me habang nakataas ang kilay nya

"ofcourse you... as my wife"nabilaukan ako sa sinabi nya then I heard him laugh

"charot HAHAHAH but for real I would rather have you as her nanny."

"gosh you guys are aware that you two are flirting infront of a seven years old right?"

"I- just eat okay..."I sigh and he laughed.

We finished eating at sabi ni Shantall mag aaral pa sya for her upcoming exam,I offered her a helping hand but she said she can study alone.Natutuwa ako dahil bukod sa matured na sya ay independent pa sya I'm sure there's a great future ahead of her.

"I'm just gonna wash the dishes."I said while getting up from the sofa while Klaizer is watching tv.

"okay after you washed the dishes can you come up my room?"he said and I nodded.

After a minute I'm finally done.I turned around and then I saw Klaizer leaning on the counter while watching me.

"You took so long to finish I thought you've gone home or whatever so checked..."he said as he looked at me with his serious emerald eyes.It was fascinating and beautiful that I can't take my eyes off of it.

"hello...earth to Lea...you there buddy?"he said while waving his hand infront of my face.

"uh...yeahh I'm sorry I zoned out I'm just thinking of my mom..."he nodded and turned around to go up his room and I followed him.

"sooo...anong gagawin natin dito sa room mo?"

"we're gonna talk about somethings ya naww."I looked at him and raised my eyebrows.

"then why can't we talk about that 'things' in the living room?"

"nothing..I just feel more comfortable here...in my room."I nodded and looked around just to see his big room full of books and I looked at it and you can see literal sparkles in my eyes right now,I'm inlove with books.

"uhh...yeah isa rin sa rason kung bakit gusto kitang papasukin dito.I know you like books so yeah feel free to read anything you want."I looked at him

"really?aww thank you Kai you're the best."

Then I started to look for a book to read and I just read and read with Kai until morning and I completely forgot about my work on the cafe.Lea ahhh stupid and now...I'm sleepy.

That's all I did all week and whenever Shantall was asleep, Kai and I immediately went to his room to read.

"Lea we need to sleep now we have school tomorrow and sabi ni mom baka bukas pa sila makauwi so...that means dito ka matutulog and uhh...well we don't have a guest room so she said to let you sleep here...in my room...but I'll be sleeping on the floor right...so yah."

"I- okay...but why can't I just sleep on Shantall's bedroom?"I said while raising my eyebrow.

"Because that brat don't want anyone to sleep in her room I don't know why"

"okay but you can sleep on the bed...let's just put pillows between us I'm on the right side then you're on the left side...ano g?"

"okay papatayin ko na yung ilaw...lagyan mo na ng unan sa gitna okay?"

"okay..."

and the he turned off the lights.

"goodnight Lea."

"Goodnight Kai."
