What an energetic way to start a day! Abena started arranging her stuff into Daddy's car as he's going to drop both her and Kwaku off at school today. Maame then prayed for her and gave her breakfast, Akua also gave her a gift and snacks as they hugged. Abena entered the front seat as Papa zoomed off. They arrived at Kwaku's place after 30mins. Adwoa also prayed for them and gave Abena a gift as well as a flask filled with assorted Jollof rice. Kwaku packed his things inside the boot with Abena's assistance. Kwaku went for his bag pack and flask and headed to the backseat as Abena joined him there. They discussed about some interesting movies they watched during their vacation and what they learnt from it. Work it, Senior Year, Along for a ride, just to mention a few.Abena: I learnt to discover my hidden talent by following things I have passion in from Work it. How about you?
Kwaku: I also learnt not to lie and not to look down on anyone.
Abena: Senior Year, thought me not to give up on my dreams but to keep fighting.
Kwaku: That's a coincidence! I learnt the same thing too.Papa feeling left out started playing some tracks of the legend Nana Ampadu and he finally got their attention. The conversation then changed to the good old days as Kwaku and Abena took their breakfast. Abena then requested that Papa buys bread for them as part of school rituals. Papa laughed so hard and told them about his days in school, he found it had to believe that buying of bread was still a ritual. During the traffic, Papa called a bread seller as well as a plantain seller and bought some for each of them. They had to part ways as Kwaku's school comes before Abena's school. The atmosphere was tense, Abena got down and helped Kwaku to offload his things from the car. Kwaku saw some of his friends and called them to assist him. He hugged Abena so tight and tears were welled up in his eyes, Abena was sobbing as well. Papa had to alight and talk to them before they released each other from the hug. Abena told him to learn hard and be a good boy for her and he said same. Kwaku had to run off as his friends have already left with his things and he couldn't bear to watch Abena cry. Abena sighed heavily, got to the front seat and hugged Papa. They put on their seat belt and continue their journey. Soon enough, they arrived at Abena's school, she got down excitedly as her mates came to assist her to pack her things to the room. Papa went with her to see her house mistress and senior house mistress as they exchanged pleasantries and Papa tipped them as his way of saying goodbye and take care of my daughter for me. Papa hugged Abena and pushed an envelope into her pocket and whispered "Daddy loves you so much, don't take stuffs from people,I love you". She whispered back "I love you too Dad, thank you".
Friend 1: Abena, you sure having a loving father.
Abena: My daddy is the best. Her friends tease her and helped her unpack. Enjoyed the Jollof rice after they took their shower and started to discuss about how they spent the holidays. Some slept off, those who stayed awake took in tea again as they got hungry after talking for long. Abena offered her bread for that night after which they prepare to sleep. Abena said a word of prayer for safe journey and zoomed off to wonderland.
