On the other side of the hills, there was the nested home of the dragons. Black Rock Mountain. It was an eerie place. The mountain was very large and the only way in or out was through the cave close to the top. Unfortunately for a human being, it would always be quite difficult to climb. Especially with all the dangerously sharp and pointy rocks surrounding it. Inside the mountain was dark, cold, and wet. But farther and deeper into the darkness of the cave, was a room of nearly fifty dragons. One of them was one much larger than all the rest. He was known as the Dragon Emperor. His name was Emperor Hex. He had complete control over all the other dragons that lived in the mountain. In his mind, he thought that dragons were predators of mankind and their livestock. He would have all the other dragons to leave the nest during the night and head towards the Cove Village for food, weather or not it was animal or man. Most of the food would go to Hex and would leave very little leftovers for his minions. Sometimes, if one of them didn't do what they were told by the Emperor, they would be punished. Some would be banished from the mountain, others would die by Hex's wrath, depending on HIS mood. One evening, after a long night of terrorizing the Cove Village once more, all the dragons brought home their fresh kill for their master. Suddenly, Hex noticed that something wasn't right. Then he realized that one of his minions was missing. He glanced over to the rest of the dragons with his burning red eyes. "Where is Cecil?" He growled. The rest of the dragons look at one another. One of them answered back to his master. "H-he was not far behind us y-your highness." He said nervously. Another dragon responds. "Y-yeah! H-he was just with us!" Hex's eyes squinted tightly with disappointment. "Then why isn't he here?" He asked. The minions try their best to come up with an excuse. "Oh you know how he is your highness." Another answered. "He's not as fast as the rest of us. Maybe he just couldn't keep up is all." Unfortunately, Hex wasn't having any of it. He slams his giant fist on the hard rocky ground with frustration. "This is unacceptable!" He snarled. "Find him!" Suddenly, right at that moment, the one called Cecil can be heard from a distance.
