April isn't scared of much. She isn't scared of bugs or bullies or heights or beachballs.

She is a little scared of Taylor Martin after the float incident, but the death of April's social life seems to have satisfied her...

April still can't look her in the eyes, just like most of the student body.

It doesn't help that they all echo each other to please her, just like that day.

Is school any different to a hypnotised cult?

Hypno's powers are fascinating, even if they freak her out a little bit. What if one of her siblings get caught and Hypno tries to make them hurt each other? Her siblings would never forgive themselves and April doesn't know if she would be able to strike against them.

April's biggest fear, the only one that matters, is not being able to protect her younger siblings, her family. If someone hurt them, she would fill them with splinters, but that isn't an option if the one hurting them are themselves.

Hypno only scares her because of the power he could exercise over her family, a power he doesn't go that far with, only using it to try and get them to leave him alone.

April fears her mutant family being discovered. It's one of the reasons she hates Draxum. His very presence risks exposing them and his actions have already ended with humans more aware of mystic stuff than before. Yokai are good, but even they can't completely cover up a huge crack in a baseball stadium without some humans noticing.

Unfortunately, her last fear is realised as she enters the Lair 2.0, only to find the place a mess and not the type of mess her family leaves behind.

She heads for the security room, linking up to the not really AI Metalhead running the room and finds what she's looking for.

EPF.

A new branch of government that surfaced post-Shredder, but only got active post-Krang.

April grits her teeth. She has work to do.

She calls the Caseys, Draxum and Sunita. She won't be doing it alone.
