Weather

When it rains, the world gets quieter and the rooftops get slippy, so Raph tends to encourage nights in and no patrols. Unfortunately, he has three younger siblings, two of which do not like to stay in, even on days like today. Leo, for one, loves a good drizzle and sure, sitting on a rooftop, drinking in the scent of dampness in the air makes for a happy slider, Leo much prefers to listen to his instincts, like right now.

"CANNONBALL!"

Mikey giggles as he is drenched, shaking like a dog, as Donnie grumbles, trying to dry off the screen of their wristpad from where the two sit with their feet in the pool. Raph just watches from his corner of the pool, arms resting on the sides, as Leo swims laps, slowly just drifting and enjoying the drizzle on his scales and shell.

"This is the life, siblings," Leo sighs, turning onto his carapace as he does backstroke, "A swim in the rain. No baths for this turtle."

Raph rolls his eyes, "You're taking a shower at the very least when we get home," Leo whines and opens his mouth to protest, but Raph interrupts, glaring, "We both know how much you hate the feel of chlorine under your scales and how easily you get sick. Raph is not letting you whine about your poor life decisions. Again."

Leo grumbles, spitting a spray of water at his much older brother, before dashing off to the other side of the pool with a cackle, whilst Raph splutters and wipes his face with his hands.

"LEO!" Raph bellows, "THAT'S DISGUSTING!"

Said little brother blows a raspberry at the elder turtle from his supposed safety at the other side of the pool. Unfortunately, he has two other siblings who decide to grab a hold of him and keep him trapped so their eldest brother can pull the slider into a noogie.

It is then that the heavens decide to open up and the four turtles retreat to the safety of their sewers.
