Chapter 3- Moving day pt2

Derek

After 2 days we finally made it to our house in Dc we had to stop one night to stay in a motel to get back on the road , after I parked the car I quickly got out it and unlocked the door to the house it looked amazing and the interior great I then go back outside to unload the truck helping mark.

"Whoa shepherd you have a great taste in houses I'll give you that and got the girl  the kids and now working for the president that's a big step man". He says taking the kitchen boxes in first. "Thanks man I really appreciate it and yea it's a big step up to", I say  taking the rest of the kitchen boxes in the kitchen. I

Mark and I finished unloading all the boxes putting the rest in the living room,  I see Mer and Zola unloading the boxes in the kitchen mark and I started to put up each bed in each room.

"Whew a lot of work", I say rubbing the sweat off my forehead finishing putting Zola's bed. "Tell me about it took me a full 3 minutes to figure out how to put a damn bed together it's been a while ", he laughs.

"What time is it", i ask moving Baileys bed frame  to his new room. "It's like 4pm". He says moving the mattress to the side of the wall.

"So your about to be a father of 3 I hear", he smiles as he starts to put the bed together. "Yea I can't believe it". I say working on the other side of the bed

~6 hours later

Everything was set up in the house including Mer and i office and part of Ellis nursery which were still working on the backyard still needs furniture and working on .

I went into the kitchen to see Mer cooking shrimp pasta dish  I smile looking at her in her fluffy robe  with her fuzzy slippers, and a silky t shirt that shows all her curves and her almost 8 month pregnant stomach .

She looked like a star and beautiful I went up behind her hugging her from behind ,rubbing her stomach feeling our daughter kick beneath my palm.

"You scared me", she giggled as she kept stirring the pasta fully. "Sorry I couldn't help that you are adorable in your little Pj wear", I smile kissing her cheek.  "Stop it it was comfortable I could find to put on quick". She smiles

"I know it's just you look adorable ". I say pinching her ass softly. "Derek!". She gasped as she turns around facing him.

"I already set the table go get the kids from the play room and ask mark if he wants any". She says turning back around rubbing her stomach.

"Okay Mrs bossy". I say. "Derek no time for games just go do what i just said ". She giggled as she makes a plate for the kids.

I get up going into the other room to see mark watching Tv. "Mark Mer made dinner". I say sitting next to him. "Oh no she didn't burn it did she". He asks looking.

I just laughed patting his back. "No you goofball I taught her some cooking lessons she got better". I say getting up. "What did she cook". He asks being nosy.

"Shrimp pasta with garlic bread the kids is already at the table ". I say going towards the door. "Okay okay I'm coming ". He says following me

Mers Pov:

I see Derek and mark coming form the other room I gave both a smile,  and making there plates. I pour grape juice for Zola and Bailey then I made myself a plate sitting next to Derek.

"So when do you start your attending job", mark ask eating. "Derek and I start  tomorrow I think but yea this weird girl was looking at us moving in". I say eating the pasta.

After we all finish eating I put Zola and Baileys plate in the dishwasher and the rest of the plates in the dishwasher. Once I did that ,   I pick up Bailey and helped Zola up towards the stairs giving them a bath  once I gave them both a bath I put them in there rooms  for bed because it was late.  Before I shut Zolas door I hear her calling .

"Yes Zozo", I say sitting on her bed. "Could you read me a bedtime story you tell the best ones", she says cuddling up her bear. "Of course I will", I smile kissing her forehead

"One time there was  a princess that got trap in the tower  for a very long time  , on her 18th birthday she wanted to go out and see the lanterns, but her mother said no  but she indeed snuck off out of the tower with her chameleon and a friend she bumped into inside the tower". I say as Zola began to fall asleep

I kissed her forehead. "I love you ", I whispered getting up gently closing her door  going to the master bedroom to see Derek awake.

"Your awake", I say removing my robe laying on the bed next to him. "Couldn't sleep just yet I was doing last minute things before we start our first day tomorrow". He says as he takes off his reading glasses

"Right work plus we have a neighbor across the street she's weird she kept staring at you and mark while moving in the stuff". I say getting into bed slowly. "I didn't see a stalking neighbor but okay how's the little one". He asks rubbing my stomach

"She's good but kicking me its maybe a sign that I'm tired ". I yawn feeling his hand pulling me closer. "Yea we should probably get some sleep early bird in the morning". He says as he cuddles closer to me while rubbing my stomach.

"I love you Derbear". I say closing my eyes enjoying his warm chest. "I love you to to Merbear". He says as we both fall asleep

And our life begins in Dc
