Quick AN: For those of you who read the first chapter in the first hour it was out, it said she was a virgin, but I updated it to say she wasn't. Originally she was supposed to be, but it didn't fit with her backstory.
————————-
I woke up looking at the light streaks across my room from the cracks of my curtain. I was startled by my phone vibrating. Groggily, I picked it up and lowered the brightness to see Sierra's text.
"I'll be there in 10 girly :)"
I rolled out of bed and put on my fluffy bunny slippers. I stumbled to the bathroom and looked at myself.
Ew, I have a lot of work to do. I brushed my teeth and then put my hair in a high pony.
I walked out of the bathroom to see Sierra sitting on my bed. She was looking down at her phone. Did she not notice me standing there? "SIERRA!" I screamed. She jumped and I laughed so hard.
"WHY DID YOU DO THAT!?" she screamed. Oh my gosh, I'm clenching my stomach laughing right now.
"What's so important on your phone?" I barely got my words from laughing. She blushed and I stopped. "Ooooo, is it a boy?" I said in a teasing tone. Her face was crimson now. "Yes" she said looking down playing with the hem of her shirt. "It was the one I met yesterday at the party..."
She was really blushing now. "Awee" I squealed. "Shut up Bails" she said as I giggled.
"Enough about me. We need to find you a cute outfit!" she said while standing up and walking to my drawers.
I walked to my makeup table and replied "Okay. You'll pick out the outfit while I put on my makeup."
I put concealer to hide my dark circles, eyeshadow, eyeliner on the top and bottom of my eye, and lots of mascara.
"Oh yes." Sierra said while holing up an outfit for me to try on. It consisted of light blue pants, a little white spaghetti strap shirt with ruffles, and a black and red plaid shirt to cover my arms because of dress code.
I put on the outfit, sprayed perfume, and put on my favorite knee high boots. Sierra inspected me and stated "Damn we look hot!" We giggled and walked downstairs.
It smelled like freshly cooked waffles and bacon, yum. "Good morning mom, dad, Dylan." I said while sitting down next to Sierra.
Dylan was my older 19 year old brother. He lives with us because his college is only 20 minutes away.
"Good morning sweetie!" My mom said as she set down the food in front of me. I was so hungry. I dug in fast.
"Whoa, Bailey. The food isn't going anywhere." My dad chuckled and my mom glared at him.
"Chris, let her enjoy her food." She said.
"Fine" he said while picking up his newspaper.
"Can you wash my clothes Linda?" Dylan asked while giving my mother a stupid fake grin.
"Dylan, don't call your mother by her first name." my dad said while hitting the back of his head with his newspaper.
Sierra giggled next to me.
" Well, this has been fun, but we have to leave for school." I said while standing up and walking to put on my backpack. It was a plain and navy but I liked it.
I got into my car with Sierra and drove to my first day senior year.
****
" Hi Ryan! Hi Michael!" I said while running up to them.
"What's your schedule Bails?" Ryan asked. I read off my schedule
" 1st period-Japanese III
2nd period-AP Physics
3rd period-drawing
4th period-health
5th period-history
6th period-AP Lit.
7th period-BC Calculus"
"Damn girl. We have 2nd, 5th, and 6th period together." Michael said while giving me a high five.
"We have health together." Ryan said while winking.
"We have the same schedule besides 1st and 2nd period!" Sierra squealed while hugging me.
This year was going to be good.
****
"Bye Ryan!" I said while walking out of my health class. I looked at my schedule. 5th period, history.
Good. I don't hate this subject.
I walked in and saw Sierra and Michael. I sat next to Sierra and Michael sat in front of me.
"Hey guys! Where's the teacher?" I asked.
Michael turned to me and replied "He had to print out some papers."
Sierra faced me and said "Yah, I bumped into him while he was leaving and he is so H-O-T."
She started giggling, and I looked at her with disgust and said "Ew, Sierra you can't talk that way about teachers."
Suddenly he walked in. Oh no...
"Shit shit shit" I cursed under my breath. He looked around until he locked eyes with me. I blushed crimson under his gaze. He looked at me with disbelief. I quickly snapped my head down.
Gosh this is so embarrassing. We were basically eye flirting yesterday at Johnny Rockets.
"What was that about?" Sierra asked. I knew my whole face was completely red. "Nothing" I replied with my head still down.
The teacher cleared his throat and said "Hello class! My name is Tyler Adams, but you call me Mr. Adams or Mr.A, it doesn't really matter. A little bit about me. I'm 22, graduated from UCLA, and this is my first year teaching so go easy on me."
It was disgusting. All the girls were staring at him and twirling their hair around their finger trying to look cute.
I got through the rest of the period without making eye contact, though I felt like he was staring at me the whole time.
